Your technician was excellent and explained everything perfectly but I feel that the 8-5 appts should have 4 hr windows so the whole day isn't taken away.

Technician was fine, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Customer service experience was horrible, NO HUMAN INTERACTIONS - entire system is run by Ai. They had an appointment confirmed, then changed the appointment without explanation and when called the AI bot kept confirming the original appointment. Considering all the AI interface does to do anything with the appointment the diagnostic fee is outrageous. The repair cost was quoted at almost the same value as a brand new refrigerator! A new compressor is approximately $500... However the labor to replace is over $1,000. My opinion, spend your $$ with a local mom and pop shop where you know it's paying real people not an AI Bot service...
Customer service response - We apologize for the issues with the AI system and customer service, Sean. We're glad the technician was knowledgeable, and we appreciate your feedback to help us improve our service and pricing transparency.

The technician didn't have the part needed in his truck during the diagnosis of my appliance. So i had to wait for my appliance to be fixed. I was told the part was lost the first week after the diagnostic visit. So I had to wait another week. Now after the work is finished my refrigerator is still not cooling. I'm now feeling like I've been hustled out of $340. As the photo shows my refrigerator is still reading 80 degrees.
Customer service response - We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you've experienced, Geoffrey. This is not the service we aim to provide. Please contact us at searshomeservices.com or call 1-800-469-4663 so we can assist you further. Thank you for your patience.

service was delayed because a part still needed to come, all the parts were here a week after I ordered service and I had to wait a month for repair because of a part that I already had. when I tried to call to tell that i had the part I was unable to get someone to tell them. Every phone number I called I got the same recording that they are waiting for a part. couldn't tell them that I already had it. frustrating
Customer service response - We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused by our communication and service delays. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we'll work on improving our response time and customer service.
