Technician was Great! Stars 1 & 2. Appliance got repaired within minutes! Stars 3 & 4. But Sears was misleading by suggesting their estimate and assessment fees would be waived if I decided to have them move forward with the repair. It took 12 minutes for the technician to make his way to his truck, get the part, and fix my oven. The $300 Labor Fee was tough to swallow though. Advocating for Sears, it's not just 12 minutes of one guy's time. It's the initial conversation with the appointment-setting representative; it's the follow-up communications, both automated and from the technician; it's the vehicle he drove, and the drive-time, and fuel; it adds up! I reluctantly understand how $300 is the bottom labor line, but it's just a bit hard to take at first.... Anyway, the days of the $100 service call are long gone, so consider buying a new appliance if yours breaks because you'll break even in the end!

The technician was great. There was however a long delay (1 month) and a few appointment reschedules due to low staffing. Obviously not his fault. The warranty part was shipped directly to my house within a few days after the tech's initial visit. Thankfully I was able to install the new part myself, so the long delay was fairly inconsequential to me.

Dylan was very sweet but seemed unfamiliar with the appliance he was here to repair. He was not sure how to remove the control panel and once he got it off he was not sure how to replace the circuit board. Finally appears to have everything working appropriately.

A better time frame needs to be implemented a time from 8 -5 pm is ridiculous, I have gotten a email saying the technician would be here @ 7:53 am - 8:50 am. It was 1145 am when he showed this is unacceptable

Odd experience. Called and was connected to an "AI assistant" who took my information and said they had no time slots available. And that was it. Don't know if they're booked till kingdom come or just don't serve my area or if the AI is broken, and there's no person available to answer questions
