The serviceman (Josh) I believe was on time courteous and knowledgeable . He fixed problem within 30 minutes and was gone. However the 30 minutes with no parts cost over $300 and I thought that it was exorbitant, I believe that knowing the price prior to receiving the bill would ease the shock and or have me look for an more economical service company. The offering a %50 discount if I was to enroll into the sears appliance protection program at $49 an month was also a tell tale of an overcharged bill. I won't be so eager to use Sears anymore because of the manner they do business

Washer broke. Technician came the next day. Said it needed a drain pump and set appt for Friday of following week. Part was delivered quickly and sears offered earlier repair appt. Appt was Monday 1-5 pm. Came home from work early. As I was arriving home at 12:45 pm I received a call from sears service saying technician had to be excused the rest of the day and would not be coming. Was given a new appt for Tuesday morning. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told issue would be escalated and one would contact me. Did not happen. Next day tech made me wait for 2 and one half hours after telling me he would be here in 25 min. I called looking for him and again asked for a supervisor. Left in hold loop indefinitely. Machine was repaired but tech had no concern for my time. Entire company does not seem to care for the customer or wish to speak to the customer. Completely unacceptable...my how this iconic company has lost its way.

To be honest. My experience was terrible. Customer service stinks. You can’t get anyone in the US on the phone. The came back 3x and re ordered the part twice. They couldn’t figure it out. In the end they fixed it but it’s been almost 2 months without my microwave. I’m not very happy.

Problem that we called for wasn't addressed at all. Servicemen said he fixed something else, in three visits, but the original problem which he said "don't worry about it" wasn't fixed nor was there an explanation of what that issue is given. We pay for a service contract so you'll be back soon.

The repair man was very nice and competent. However, Sears scheduling needs a lot to be desired. The issue was with my gas burner. We didn't have heat in the house for all of November and part of December. If it wasn't for my wood stove, my wife and kids would have froze.

Upon using it a few days later, discovered that the incline mechanism didn't work. He was here for two hours and I would think that part of the diagnostics before leaving would have included running it and checking that it inclined properly.
