He checked everything but was not as thorough as men other years. Others pulled out the refrig, he did not. Others take the dryer apart, he did not. The noise in the washer, noted but no suggestions. I signed nothing.

My Tech was fantastic. I give him. 5 starts however! It took 5 rescheduled appointments to even get someone out to my house. My repair was covered under a extended warranty from best buy. Which I already know they will never get my money again. Trying to talk to anyone with Sears is impossible as its all AI generated and you cant escalate anything.

Shane did a great job However dealing with Sears online is a disaster for this customjober. Unable to speak to a real person ; unable to ask question to a robot; unable to tell the robot that you can't text a landline, therefore received no messages until I realized what was happening and added my Iphone number. Quite frustrating . Poor customer service. Asinine Intelligence !

The service provider seemed knowledgeable, but after the third visit since July (it is now September 9th), the issue still isn't fixed. It is probably time to replace it.

The 1 - star reviews for unreliable communication from the company and last minute appointment cancellations are valid. There is really no way to contact a human being in advance of the appointment and my repair appointment was cancelled same day once. On the plus side, the virtual scheduler, is responsive and easy to use for basic requests and my experience with the service technician was outstanding.

Nothing personal here. Will just say what's happened. I sincerely hope this was a fluke in the normal service level. Perhaps surrounding the individual tech, perhaps the company taking on too much work. I don't know. But this has not been good. Lowes subs out to Sears, Sears subs out to A and E Appliance Repair. But this was the third time warranty service was needed on our heavily used Samsung washer. First time the entire control board was replaced but the problem wasn't fixed. 2 or 3 visits for the same problem. My wife ended up fixing it it because it was something with the lid latch. The tech at that time walked through the kitchen and never stopped to listen to my wife as she started to describe the problem, I watched this happen. THIS time it's been nearly a month. Water pump toothpick sized metal impeller shaft broke. Falls under warranty so I can't fix it or voids warranty. Tech had the part sent to him. It's supposed to be sent to the client. I HAD A GOOD ENOUGH WINTER TO GET A SPEED QUEEN WASHER AS A SECOND WASHER. We'd be $400 into the laundry mat anyway with this water pump and service issue. Then multiple unexplained delays. Then another tech arrived but didn't have the part, he expected the part to be here. More delays. The second tech shows up again, nope still no part. He's quite upset as well and spends a fair amount of time making some calls again to find out what's going on. He apologized and leaves. Next day, first tech shows up, replaces pump, leaves the washer out of place, no testing on it that I heard, and left all the old part pieces and packaging NOT EVEN IN THE TRASH CAN. Second tech very kindly requested we not judge the company by one tech, we don't, but it's hard not to. I will not share tech name publicly. A&E has that info. But BEWARE. I asked Thayer Appliance in Ithaca whom I got the Speed Queen from whom they use for the warranty period, it's not A&E. Hargo is whom we have had for another appliance and they were great. As well as Tommy's.
