Maybe a good eventual diagnosis..? My fridge still doesn't work. He took the cover apart and put it back together with no new parts or improvements. The fridge did not work when he called the job done. $150 for nothing. The tech had no parts for the job with him, and no tools so he had to borrow ours. Phil tried to overcharge us nearly $650 for a damper motor. I expected much more professional and honest service from Sears. UPDATE 08/18/2025 We had a real repair person take a look and it was a piece of ice stuck in the baffle so the control motor couldn't operate. $45 repair. Phil from Sears tried to charge me $650 for a part and labor that I never needed. He did charge me $150 for his inaccurate diagnosis, unneeded parts, overpriced labor, and bad attitude. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your appliance servicing needs.

We waited from 9-5 for someone to show up to look at our fridge that wasn’t working. At around 5:30pm we received a message that we had been rescheduled to a time five days later. It difficult to wait five extra days when you’re without a fridge. Tried to get ahold of customer service multiple times and it’s all automated and AI assisted.

Worst experience with service ever. Sent someone with no experience with induction cooktop. He was so clueless and would not listen to what I had to say. Failed to report obvious error code to tech support. Blamed me for using the wrong cookware - the same I’ve been using the last 18 months with the stove. Then left with codes fully displaying and did not reinstall oven. What a moron.

We had an 8-5pm booking for our broken fridge freezer. I had waited in all day. At 3pm their call center phoned to cancel. They said the local technician blamed ‘weather’ for the cancelation - it was lightly raining. What a joke - clearly the technician couldn’t be bothered to come on a Friday afternoon. So my experience with Sears is that they are completely unreliable.

This is a 3rd Sears visit for same issue: an induction burner range that flashes & shows E22 error message. None of the visits resolved the issue. Nonetheless I’ve been charged yet again (175) & my signature even was forged. That’s a lot for a repeat non resolution. Sears - if this is the same issue again & again & it isn’t resolved: reimburse me. I can’t even reach a human being to work this out sadly. This is incredibly frustrating & my stove still isn’t repaired.

Took the day off for the repair... they canceled at 1pm for 2pm service. I called and was told they would reschedule for the next day... service representative tells me 3:17pm appointment. Tech shows up at 1:30pm while I am at work!!! Oh and $80 for a part that is $9.95 on Amazon. $331 for labor.... he was here for 30 minutes ND 20 of is was using his battery powered shop vac!

We have a GE stove less than a year old, We have not been able to use or get it fixed since the week before thanksgiving, It is now Christmas and it has still not been fixed, We have taken off time to sit home waiting for repair men to show up only to find by the end of the day that they had to cancel our appointment for that day, They did show up yesterday to install a part they expected to fix the problem only to find out it didn't fix the problem, We are going through the most important time of year without a working stove and can't believe the total lack of help or concern that we are experiencing with a stove less than a year old,
