We have 2 A/C units .one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs A/C is not cooling I keep the thermostat on 78 . I was assigned Sears technician through my home warranty company . I put in the claim on Saturday and the tech Alex did not show up till Wednesday. But he didn’t do anything . He said that your house is big so he lower the thermostat to 72 . He also wanted to pay him first before he can see what the issue .So I paid him $75 . Waste of time and money . My A/C is not working at all now . I have call my home warranty again . I will not recommend this company.

After 43 days of my initial Warranty request to fix my Fridge's (Ice Maker), the Sears Rep finally completed the task. This included ordering parts (twice), missed appointments, cancelled appointments, rescheduling appointments, multiple text alert messages (daily), multiple emails messages (daily) and then no shows for appointment. I lost several days pay by being home waiting from (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) on "no show" Reps. Anyway... thanks for the Ice. H. Cooper, US ARMY Retired. Govt Contractor, IT Sec.

HVAC Preventive Maintenance appointment was scheduled for today at 1:00pm. The technician, Alex, arrived on time, but the concern is that they're supposed to inspect and run tests in order to diagnose any preventive maintenance issues. This service typically costs $129.99, I applied a Sears coupon, which brought it down to $89.00. Alex, the AC Tech, was fiddling on his cell phone when he discovered my backyard cameras, then he simply looked at the unit, did not apply anything(their device) to it nor did he the check freon. His recommendation was to replace a part that was just replaced last year. My question - other than looking at the AC unit without running a diagnostic test, how could he come to this conclusion? All that was really done was rinsing off the coils, which is something we already do. I could have saved an additional $89.00 and do it ourselves at this point. If I could have rated zero stars I would have, but it's not allowed đźš«

Worse experience I've ever had with a service agreement. Juan has been to my house 3 times and submitted a request for a new water heater each time. He told me today I just have to wait and it may take 2 or 3 more weeks. That will be 1.5 months without hot water. Sear's AI system sucks!! Can never talk to a real person.

By far this is the worst experience dealing with Sears. I picked Sears because of name recognition. It took about a month to get the part for my oven. The part did not work and literally blew up while the technician was here. The technician had to close out the ticket and I have to start all over again as if this was a new repair. There is no live person to speak to when you call. I am forced to use Sears now because I paid the service fee. After this repair is finally completed, I will never use Sears again. No wonder you have a dying company.

Worst service ever tech waits to the last minute after waiting all day that he does not service manufactured homes. Then does not tell us he is not coming.

Service technician said he couldn’t go on the roof because of the weather- somewhat understandable. Went on to say I would have to call and reschedule an appointment with choice home warranty said they could not reschedule?? That to me was unbelievably disappointing and quite frankly unprofessional. I would never ever recommend Sears and absolutely would not consider them for any service. Terrible experience for me. Well you can begin with not leaving a young handicapped lady with no air?? How about if we were to start there? Your technician wanted to go home it’s obvious I can send you the ring driveway video if you wish ??

Microwave broke in Jan. 6 weeks later told no parts available for it. Paid for new micro. even though under exte ded warranty. TODAY Repairman came by to install but he could not mount new on wall only repair old one!!!!
