. I had called for service for my dryer 2 3 weeks ago. A repair showed up. I told him the belt broke in the dryer he looked at it pulled the drum out without unscrewing all the screws and lost some of them when they went flying and then said yes you’re right you need a new belt. He said he would have to order it and I asked how long that would take as I can’t be without it for long he said tops a week and I need to pay in full. I wanted to pay by check he said no only card. I said I would pay for service and part later and he said no in full and then smugly said to my husband unless you think you can fix it. I paid as I figure it’s Sears even though the guy was unprofessional and rude but I need my dryer. He then asked on way out if I was getting rid of any equipment in my garage. It has now been been 14 days and no word from sears no update on part and No belt. It hasn’t shipped. I called the 1800 number the day before and yesterday they told me they would expedite it and I would hear back that night. I did not. I called again and it still had not shipped and they said they will only refund me $209 for the part and repair not the $129 diagnostic fee that I by the way diagnosed myself and now that we had someone else look at it realized that he actually bent the frame when he pulled the drum out. I want a full refund including the diagnostic fee at this point. The woman I spoke with was also rude and smug when I asked to speak to someone who could make that happen she said there is no one. When I asked for a manager she said I can’t divulge that number. She said she would refund me the 209 for parts and repair and I would have to email billing for the rest. I have written 2 emails with no response and still have not received any refund. I hope that whoever reads this will respond in a way worthy of Sears customer service because this is ridiculous. I’ll be waiting to hear from you.

Ismer H. was my technician. After I expressed the problems I was experiencing with my fridge, he told me GE refrigerators are poorly designed now compared to the past and I should just deal with it. He then said I cannot keep anything in the center of the fridge because it blocks the airflow, and I could clearly see that I was not blocking any of the airflow vents. He seemed to want to leave at that point, so I again pointed out my concerns and he said there is something he would order to address the frost for only one part of the fridge. He then proceed to walk to my door to leave my home without sharing the next steps or how the other issues can be remedied (frost and ice in whole fridge and freezer and icemaker is malfunctioning). I was shocked and confused because it felt as though he made next to no attempt to help me and continued to blame GE. He again said my issues are primarily due to GE’s poor design. His erratic departure and lack of care/concern made me feel very uncomfortable. This type of person should never engage with people without supervision. I have no recourse as A&E, Sears Home Services and Assurant have no live agents. Now I am stuck with a refrigerator that does not work properly and a worthless insurance plan that was clearly a waste of money.

No folllow through. Been waiting 3 weeks beyond the 2 weeks since claim started for a date for my new AC install. Today the best i got was "you are in the que'...extremely unhappy! No appointment date!!!!!! And after 2 hours on the phone!!!

The tech gave my insurance company a bad report so now I had to pay my deductible plus my Insurance company won't pay for my repairs so now I am without air-conditioning and I will never call sears again .

The tech was early [very good], friendly, but explained to me that Sears does not service units with Zone Boards. Sears did a very good job in communicating with me prior to the visit. Curious as to why someone wouldn't call and ask about multi zone. It is not that unusual to have 2 zones on a unit. We both could have saved a lot of time.
