We waited from 8:00AM to 1:00pm got an email the Agent will be there between 1:00pmto2:30pm no show then at 4:00pm got a call to say the dryer was not covered because of a previous maintenance since I bought the dryer it was never serviced seats is a ripoff they wanted to charge me 636.00 to fix

My 71 year old mother has been paying over $80/mo so that when she has an issue with her appliances, someone from sears will come out to help. After her ice maker broke, she had someone come out (after canceling 2 times) to take a look. They ordered a part and installed it. The ice maker never worked after that ‘fix’. That was early June. It’s not mid July and it’s still not working. Now her microwave needs fixing and the last 5 appointments she scheduled have been canceled. Sears needs to refund her the $800+ shes paid for this services or get out there THIS WEEK to actually repair these appliances for her. This is absurd. Thanks for the reply but I am not able to speak to a person when calling that number and cannot have a representative contact me through the website. My mom is having trouble even canceling her service. This is not helpful. She now has to pay MORE money to have these issues resolved by another company who will actually correct thr issue.

The technician was great. However, Sears Home Repair scheduling is horrendous. When we first scheduled the appointment, we were told they would bring the part needed with them. That didn't happen. After the initial visit on a Monday, we were told by the technician he would be back on Friday. Then we received an automated return visit for the Friday of the next week. I tried to call to complain, but could only speak via chat. They pushed the return visit up by two whole days, still 9 days after the initial visit. Then I received an automated call pushing the return visit up by another day with a window from 8 am to 5 pm. When that day came Sears was a no-show. I wasted an entire day waiting for them not to show. Then I received an automated text stating they would not be back for another 5 days, which was a full 12 days since the initial. Did I mention the part was delivered to me 3 days after the initial visit? I was finally able to get them to finish the repair today, 9 days after the initial visit and 6 days after I received the part for repair. When I called to complain after 3 days, the person on the chat, if it was a person, apologized and promised this would NEVER happen again. The person promised they would expedite the service call. The person lied. I wold never recommend Sears Home repair to anyone!

Technician was very polite but did not do the job. Our GE refrigerator stopped getting cold, so we called for service. By the time Sears came (next appointment was a day later) the fridge started getting cold again. Technician claimed it was due to an aging compressor cooling fan motor and charged over $500. 40 days later, we had the same issue. Sears refused to come out again without a new payment as more than 30 days had elapsed. We called a different technician who showed us the motherboard and where the solder had burned through the board. He patched the board and everything is working find now. The original technician should have looked at the board and seen the scorch mark. Sears overcharged for parts (they charged $112.87 for a part that GE sells for $71) , overcharges for labor, and only offs a 30 day warranty AND THEY MISDIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. Now it also appears that Sears has an AI that responds to these reviews. The AI directs people to call another automated number. There is no getting through to a person.

This is horrible company. I pay a lot of money for my home warranty for my appliances. I paid $100 deductible and the service provider came out and ordered the part for my appliance. He told me it would be delivered via UPS. The next day I received an envelope from Amazon. The envelope was opened and empty. I called Sears Home Services and I was told to contact the service provider. I called and left a detailed message with the service provider and ask them to call me back. He never called me back. I called Home Services to let them know and asked for a supervisor . They told me they would have a supervisor call me back. No one called me back.

I wish I could give zero stars! I was given an appointment time between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m to fix my dryer. The technician never showed, and I received a text message rescheduling my appointment for a week later 2 minutes after 5:00 p.m. The service is completely unreliable. I lost an entire afternoon of work because of their negligence. I would never give them another opportunity to stand me up, and would never recommend this service to anyone. Do not be fooled.

Terrible experience. Waited entire day for the technician Jacob to arrive, and being told he’s running late, and then being told he couldn’t make it for the day, and asked me to reschedule. And when he did show up for the second appointment, he ignored all the notes we put in the service ticket, and came for less than ten minutes, and then told us the unit has no problem, what a clown. Very unprofessional and no manner at all, very arrogant. Don’t recommend.
