This rating is specific to the technicians I dealt with. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. If I were rating customer service and the website this would be 1 star with thw exception of a guy named Wilson (5th person i spoke with). Appointments scheduled were canceled because of parts delays. Responses from the call center were vague at best, at some points just useless. "We have no idea when the part will come in." I was literally 5 minutes away from just buying a new fridge that would be anything BUT Kenmore. I'm still hesitant to buy anything Kenmore for now but I thank the technicians Dave and Kahmeer (not sure of spelling) for diagnosis and resolution.

Sears labor cost for there technicians are very high. The technician was efficient in his duties. However he arrived 2 hours after his scheduled window. In addition the service although simple was not fixed on the initial day. They do not keep the parts on had and had to be ordered.The part was delivered which was very small and clearly inexpensive in comparison to total cost. I waited a whole day for the completed task to be completed. I cannot say I would use this service again.

We've used Sears repair for years without incident, but now that they have apparently gone to artificial intelligence customer service our latest experience was pretty bad. I scheduled to have my GE refrigerator repaired and got a service window of 1 to 5 PM for today. I got one text update at 4:45 PM saying the technician had two more stops and would arrive between 3:45 and 4:00 PM. With no further updates by 5:30 I called and tried unsuccessfully to speak to a human being. The AI assistant I was talking to told me it could do whatever a person could, but when I asked it to contact my technician to find out what the actual status of his arrival time was, it just reset itself and restarted the same AI conversation from the beginning. My technician finally called me at about 5:50 from a location at least an hour away from my home and asked me to describe the problem with the fridge. When I told him he said "Oh I can't help you with that, you need to call GE and have a certified GE person come out". I told him it would have been nice if I could have explained my problem to someone at the time I booked my appointment (which is how it has always worked in the past), I could have found this out right away and not have spent hours at home waiting for his arrival. He told me that now that everything is AI, there's no way an AI agent would have been able to know that a Sears tech couldn't make the repair. A total waste of time and another day with a problem refrigerator.

Sears service was booked via chat robot, asked several questions which I asnwered. Robot asked me to explain the problem, sent photo of model for parts if needed, full description I sent over and over again as robot asked the same questions. Explained the fridge is working but do not want it to break down on me. Repair man showed up and said he could do nothing, the fridge has to break down altogether for him to know what the problem is. I was charged the service fee $129. What was the purpose of answering all those questions when serviceman shows up saying nothing can be done. I was ripped off by Sears.

Dear Sears Service Team, I wanted to share my experience regarding today’s technician appointment for my Kenmore Dryer. The service window was scheduled for 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and I received a call in the afternoon informing me that the technician would arrive around 3:00 PM. However, the technician (Darrell) did not arrive until 4:42 PM. I took the entire day off work to accommodate this appointment, and the delay was quite frustrating. When the technician arrived, he seemed unhappy and was argumentative, despite my efforts to be courteous (offering water, tea, and acknowledging it might have been a long day). At one point, he asked if I wanted to reschedule. For context, the previous technician who serviced my dryer was professional and efficient, making today’s experience even more disappointing. At this point, my appliance remains unrepaired, and I’ve lost a full day of work with no resolution. I would like to reschedule the service, preferably with the original technician if possible, since he is already familiar with the appliance and the previous work done. I hope the next visit will be smoother and more professional. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your assistance in resolving this issue.

Technician was great. Customer service was the worst I have ever seen. Phone number has no option to talk to a real person. The appointment I had showed me the tech was coming 8AM -12PM On a specific date after I had received a new Part for my refrigerator. During the day they kept on moving the appointment to later and later in the day and then all of a sudden I get a text from them that my appointment has been rescheduled to another date. They rescheduled me multiple times and each time after waiting most of the day for the technician again they kept canceling it. I was able to reach them each time this happened. They apologized and gave me a new date, But three times, nobody showed up on those dates. Finally, after almost a month, waiting for my ice machine on the refrigerator to be repaired it was finally done. Never again with Sears home services. I don’t need the aggravation..
