Leland, NCRefrigerator
Gabriel came and told me my compressor was bad. I paid for a new one and it immediately killed my mother board. I had to pay for another one. V it took 3 weeks to get my refrigerator working again because they only come out on Tuesdays.
Helen F,
Leland, NCAs a helper
Todd was polite and really didn't work on our washer. He asssted in helping unstack and restack the dryer and washer.
Roger B,
Supply, NCPoor appointment time
Stephen completed the job, that his company supposedly pushed onto him last minute and he had to travel so far for. We had an original appointment set up for last Thursday with a crazy time window of 8-5, of which was cancelled at 4:20pm to be pushed off to yesterday with another 8-5 window time frame...and Stephen called me after 5 to confirm he would be at my house in 20 min...hmm, I guess my time is not as valuable as Sears.

Wilmington, NCUnintentional mistakes do happen, and can be costly
Tech very polite and seemed technically knowledgeable. Nonetheless, his careless administrative error nearly resulted in me losing coverage for total replacement of what was actually a covered item! My repair was for a "refrigerator only" appliance. During his visit, he erroneously reported to the warranty company that it was a "freezer only" (which would NOT be covered by my contract). The warranty company then eagerly initiated their administrative process which denied any coverage. Before tech left I was incredulous at the denial and soon we both realized that the denial was apparently entirely due to his inexplicable incorrect reporting of my unit as a "Freezer only" when, it was obviously a "refrigerator only" appliance which is 100% covered. Realizing his mindless (and unintentional) error, he then recontacted the warranty company in an attempt to correct his error. I now have to sort through the mess of communications from an easily confused warranty company who now has two conflicting processes going and is sending me inconsistent emails.

Now we are waiting for the next step to either replace or repair my refrigerator.

Ineffective repair after correct diagnosis
Todd is an experienced technician. However, after correctly diagnosing that our refrigerator had a malfunctioning fan motor he made the problem worse (resulting in no cooling!) by not noticing that he had a)ordered the incorrect replacement part, and b)not noticing that he was installing an incorrect (incompatible) part. The problem "chain" started with Todd not noticing that the replacement fan motor he ordered only had one plug whereas the fan motor that failed had TWO plugs. The second plug on the failing motor that he was going to replace had one of the two plugs connected to the temperature sensor of the refrigerator. We had to wait for a week for the (wrong) fan motor. Then, on his second visit to install the replacement part, he installed the new fan motor and left (whether unintentionally or otherwise) the temperature sensor plug dangling (unconnected). He installed all the covers and pointed out that "air was flowing" from the upper vent of the cooling tower. He was satisfied with that and DID NOT ENSURE that the air coming from the top of the cooling tower was in fact COLD AIR. As a result, the logic board controlling the engagement of the evaporator coils never sensed that the temperature in the refrigerator compartment was just ambient air. As a result of Todd's inattention to detail (replacement fan motor having only one plug vs the failing installed fan motor having two plugs) the refrigerator never got cool air. Our food completely spoiled and we had to wait yet another week for another technician (Brandon). Brandon noticed the discrepancy but while attempting to order the "correct" fan motor discovered the the parts diagram for our mode refrigerator showed the incorrect fan motor (only one plug). He solved the problem by cutting the both the single plug of the incorrect replacement part and the dual plug from the failing fan motor (which had a plug for the temperature sensor) from the old, failing fan motor and "splicing" it to the new fan.

Unsatisfactory service
Two scheduled visits when the technician did not show up or notify us in advance that they were not coming. Three visits and the refrigerator is still not working. Impossible to talk with a human being at your company. I do not believe your technicians are qualified or know what they were doing. My signature was forged on one document. On two of the three visits the technicians were rude. I am recommending that the warranty company never use this firm again.
