Technician was great and did a super job based on the work so far. No complaints with him. Our concerns was the very high price quoted only to be followed with a much lower cost if we purchased a service contract. $50 to clean the coils was very excessive also. We are an older couple and have always trusted Sears but wish we had shopped around and been more patient.

$299 labor charge for less than 45 mins of work-outrageous!! However, technician was knowledgeable and courteous and he had no control over the excessive charge

I have ordered and paid for a control board under warranty several months ago. I have received two plastic parts( not needed). However, I have never received the control board that was ordered. I have spent 90 minutes on the phone getting placed on hold only to have it happen over and over again. Keep getting pushed to other people only to be put on hold again and pushed to someone else. This is totally ridiculous!!!! It gets even worse. I called, they said they would escalate this matter and email me within two days. Never received an email. It's been 11 months since I ordered the part for my refrigerator. Stay away from Sears Home Service!!

Technician I rate as a 5. This company I rate as a 2. First appt never showed up, then I was notified at 4:45 pm and rescheduled. Impossible to reach the company by phone. Also Supposed to give 30 minutes notice but I did not receive notice for both appointments. I would not use them again.

Booked an appointment because my washing machine door gasket was leaking. Look up the parts and figured. Yeah I’ll pay whatever for the labor, but the parts should not be so bad. I should’ve read the reviews on Sears home services before booking the appointment Because the technician, Phillip, tries to charge me over $200 for a $60 in amazon part and Over $100 for a $25 part to replace the door gasket on my washing machine. I ate the $129 diagnostic fee because I refuse to be taken advantage of by this company or this technician. Do not utilize this company’s service services because it is a rip off plain and simple. I went on Sears home services website to look at their parts that they sell. The door gasket was $89 through them. Yet he was charging over $200. Ridiculous

Dimitri was a great technician - but apparently diagnosed my unit wrong. Hopkins is stating the repair was a simple out of warranty valve rather than what was stated on my invoice from Sears. It does appear that Sears is not only not a good shop for KitchenAid, but they also will charge you $129 to tell you.

I am extremely displeased. The technician came out on yesterday and told Me that I needed to defrost my refrigerator b/c I had left the bottom freezer door open warm air got in the freezer and caused it to build up ice around the fan and the noise I was hearing was from the fan scraping up against it…..He said if I defrosted it then I would be fine or he could steam it for $400 and I allowed him! Mind you other than the noise my refrigerator was working just fine. After he steamed it my refrigerator all of sudden no longer works. Only for him to come back and before he even looked at it he immediately told me that I had a leak. I disputed it and he then said that he knew it was a leak yesterday. He ripped me off for $569 and I want all of my money back! He lied and got over on me.

-0 not an option. I wasted an entire day, of one of my only off days, waiting for a technician to come out. Never had the option to speak to a "live" agent, only AI :o(. Rescheduled after an option was given and confirmed and still "crickets" no, not even that, 5pm came, went, still NO contact/update. Therefore, 2day I reached out to another company to fix my Samsung Dryer with ratings well over 4.9 stars.👎🏽👎🏽is my final answer.
