Sears Home Services missed their scheduled service window, which was frustrating. When they finally called to inform me they were running late, they also tried to sell me their home warranty service—not the best timing. I would have appreciated better communication and a focus on the service I had already scheduled.

Sears has cancelled our repair three times, on the 4th time with me taking a day off work, tech claimed I was not home and to have left a voicemail neither of which are true. This is completely unacceptable and when attempting to talk to a human, Sears makes that virtually impossible.

If I could give a zero, I would. Have me wait all day long for a service repair,only to get a text 45 minutes before the end time saying my service has been rescheduled for two weeks from today. No call ( can't talk to anyone on the phone) just a text after waiting from 8am till 4:20pm. They obviously have no respect for the client's time what are the fact that it was 2 weeks from the first scheduled time. Do not use them!

Phil came out to repair a washer switch on December 2, 2024. My security cam clocked him in at 10:34 a.m. and departing with switch repaired at 10:51 a.m. I was overcharged by $300 for labor and have been trying to get my refund every since. The owner responded to my first review with an apology and number to Repair Care, which BTW is located in South East Asia. What a joke! They continue to tell me a refund of $228 is due, they have escalated this to it seems a non-existent billing department and no manager is available to speak with. It's like they are reading from a script. There is something corrupt going on with this company, including the technicians. I am furious and determined to not take my foot off the gas pedal until someone credits my account the $228. Transform Sears Home Services, LLC is the parent company located in IL. My suggestion to anyone planning to use this company is to steer clear. Doesn't matter about any of the other better reviews.

I made an appointment a week ago to have a TV repaired. I waited a week for the appointment, which was scheduled for today between 1:00-5:00. On the day of the appointment, at 11:30 AM they called and cancelled, after I made arrangements to stay home. Very unreliable. I even got a confirmation of the appointment at 8:20 of the intended day. Went with a different company and won’t use them again.

Horrible, wasn't able to work on a Ptac unit when they were specifically told that's what was there. Even after I explain he did not need a ladder to take the unit and fill it with freon he refus ed and just wanted to get out of there

This man was so rude and disrespectful. He will never come in my house again. After me missing work 5 times he still did not fix what was wrong with my fridge.

Willie R was the tech scheduled to come to my home today. He never showed up, didn’t pick up the phone when we returned his call, sent him text messages (that he read) and didn’t respond. Although he never showed up (we have a camera and I was watching all day waiting for him) he completed his ticket as if he showed up and completed the service. Now we are having issues getting a new tech to come because he LIED and billed for services he did not render. Spent an hour in the phone with Sears getting transferred for over an hour only to be told that we need to call back tomorrow. I’m sure this is not the first time this tech has lied and collected money for services not received. Wish I could give ZERO stars. Update 6/11/24: responded as requested by Sears (see below) and got automated responses from their Facebook page. No resolution or response back from them even though they requested I reach out to them. They are giving the illusion that they care and will resolve your issue by responding here on Google but then don’t do anything. Beware

I'd leave no stars if I could. He walked in with a preconceived diagnosis and would not listen to any comments. He did nothing more than open the refrigerator door and draw his conclusion. Despite my asking, he did NOTHING more. He was condescending. He left saying he would send another tech. But he lied; he did not do so. Sears has no means for customers to communicate their needs and problems, so I have no way to share my problem or to get the repair I need for my refrigerator. I'm telling it here--but you won't respond. So what's the point of asking?
