Scheduled for a fridge diagnosis 3 weeks ago, finally the technician was scheduled to come out today. There's no heads up that we should leave the fridge plugged prior to technician's arrival for a proper diagnosis. We are not professional, so we wouldn't know. The technician came by for 5 minutes, told us he'll come back at the end of the day and leave the fridge plugged. Once he left, there's no communication no phone call to confirm if he's still coming. I called and texted, no response. If my scheduled slot was booked between 10am to 2pm, I would imagine the allotted time to do my job is at least an hour. So what happened to the rest of the 55 minutes? Should at least show the courtesy to let us know if you're coming back rather than keeping the customer waiting. Not professional... very big disappointment since I chose to go with A&E for their trusted brand recognition in the industry. Very disappointing

We have had a broken refrigerator and freezer under warranty since August 2021. Parts were ordered that ended up on back order. Sears cancelled the parts saying we were getting a replacement which they said was scheduled 9/28. They never showed and I have called 17 times and keep getting the run around. Sometimes they tell me I called the wrong place other times they would transfer me to Kenmore who said it wasn’t them it was Sears. Was given 4 different numbers and departments to call all contradicting what the other said. Even had someone give me a number that was out of service then argued with me when I called back that it wasn’t. Will never buy from Sears again for anything!

Sears has a major problem scheduling appointments! The office that books or reschedules appointments does not have direct contact with technician dispatch. This caused us the customer extreme frustration! The technician could not make our original four hour morning repair window, so I called to delay the appointment to another day since we would not be able to support the technician in the afternoon. I spoke with the phone schedulers at 10:15, or so, to reschedule to three days later. At 12:18 pm, I received notice from Sears that the technician is on his way. I once again called the schedulers to re-state we were not able to support the technician in the afternoon! This time I cancelled the appointment. At approx 1:00 pm, the technician arrived, and I turned him away as we were headed to the airport to pickup a family member. At 1:01pm Sears Home Services sent an email stating we were charged $103. This is outrageous! I called the phone number again to complain, and received assurance the $103 will be refunded. I was informed, I need to call back tomorrow to follow-up and ensure the credit will be properly applied. Restating, Sears Repair has a major gap between their phone team that supports customers, and the dispatch team. We had a similar, but less frustrating situation with these two Sears teams during the pandemic… We are convinced, we will never again call Sears for appliance service, repair, or installation!

They have a huge window for showing up between 8-5. Then they don’t actually show up and send text saying they aren’t going to come at 7 pm. Then setup the next appt almost a week later. I won’t use them again. Tried to get them to come the next day and they said they can’t. Very difficult to talk to manager or get a refund. Hard to even talk to any human. You can chat w a computer and a human but not very helpful in my opinion.

NO STARS Took the day off from work, waited around all day, just to get a text saying my appointment was rescheduled for the next day, no call, just a text. Called the contact # on the Sears website, which was not even a real number. Save your time and use someone else

I would like to share my frustrating experience with Sears terrible response to replacing a defective refrigerator despite having an extended warranty. For over two months my family has been left w/out a functioning refrigerator causing immense inconvenience & disappointments. I want to shed light on the lack of customer service & negligence displayed with many delayed responses, and the extended period of inconvenience have left us deeply disappointed, it’s disheartening to witness a company with such a longstanding reputation fail to prioritize its customers needs. I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering Sears for their appliance needs urging them to think twice before entrusting their hard earned money to a company that fails to deliver on its promises.

Horrible experiences with sears home services. Refrigerator has been leaking water for months now, with over 7 repairmen attempting to fix it for the past 3 months. Few were on time, even during their 8-5 window. None can diagnose and fix the problem. Getting through the automated call maze to get someone for live support is a huge hurdle. Do not waste your time or money with this.

I made an appt to have my dryer repaired. Took off all day and they were a no show. Calling is useless you get put on the robo merry go round. I can't even email them the email is rejected.
