I replaced the temperature sensor as told by the technician and our oven is still not working. That tells me the technician didn’t test the the actual connectors to determine if there may be a bigger issue.

I already paid the $139 for a previous service call. The dishwasher worked one cycle and then stopped. I had to schedule another repair visit. When he came today he said the motor and control panel were both damaged and it would cost more than a new dishwasher to repair. While I am sure this is the same thing that was wrong the first time, I was still required to pay $74.37 for his visit. To his credit, he did ask for a reduced price, however I don’t think I should have had to pay anything.

He was very hard to understand. He didn't ever replace the parts that I've had for 2 weeks and been waiting for the repair for. Now it's going to be more time to hear from the warranty company about getting a replacement. We're a one income family of 6 and I'm having to pay out of pocket for gas and to wash clothes when i should have a working washing machine (since I purchased one with a warranty) at my home.

The person that I left at my house waiting for technician said that the technician was very late and a very derogatory person. But he did fix my problem.

Your technician that finally showed up after originally scheduled for 12/18 and cancelled that appointment and was rescheduled for today 12/26 did what he was supposed to do. Due to the delay we had guests for Christmas and had to purchase a new microwave from Walmart. It was sufficient for our needs.

Corey provided a good, 4-star service. He was a day late but that was due to weather issues. However, communications sent by Sears and Assurant were conflicting, confusing and often inaccurate. We ended up waiting two days at home when that could have been avoided if we could count on communications. For example, on the morning of June 17, I received an email from Assurant reminding me of our upcoming repair on June 4. I rate Corey 4 stars, and Sears and Assurant communications NO stars.
