1. Fast response. Repair man was here next day and parts ordered and received within 3. Return service appointment was as told and repair was made within minutes. All questions with regards to service and action that could be taken to avoid problems in future were answered. In all we were well pleased with the service and those who handled the problem. Warranty monies well spent!

We purchased our washing machine less than three years ago and also bought an extended warranty for peace of mind. Unfortunately, we’ve had to use that warranty due to an ongoing problem with the machine leaving black markings on our clothing and bedding. A technician has now come to our home twice to address the issue. Both times, we were told that the problem was caused by detergent or fabric softener buildup and were instructed to run the washer’s clean cycle. We followed this advice and ran the clean cycle five separate times, yet the problem persists. These black marks do not wash out, and several items of clothing have been permanently stained and ruined. Most upsetting of all, a quilt that my late mother made for me now has these same markings. At this point, I am very dissatisfied with the service we’ve received. Despite multiple visits and following the technician’s recommendations exactly, the issue remains unresolved. My husband has also made several phone calls. We expected better results from both the warranty company and the repair service, and we hope a more effective solution can be provided soon.

Never in my life AHS/ contracted Sears Appliance Repair diagnose my glass top stove I informed tech and AHS I was cooking and the top cracked The tech examines the stove send images makes a call to Sears and Before you can say one the rep on the receiving end immediately says my stove not covered AHS give her a quote So now the glass top will not be covered for heating up a pot states misused not normal wear & tear physical damage Insurance is for physical damage right? That’s why we make the claim Since it was not diagnosed as a heat fracture I m out of the $205 total No repairs no replacement It’s called cooking … heating & crack How can cooking on a stove be miss used not normal wear & tear Someone Anybody talk to me my tech went the extra yard yet whoever he called at Sears denied me for my repair in a millimeter of a second. Without having the time to view pics or proper assessment I’m not ok at all the glass cannot be repair has to be replace. So AHS contracts Sears Appliance Repair and Sears attempts to profit from incidents quote that Rather than make the factual statement that was made to me A Heating Fracture (that would been covered) REALLY!😡 Heads-up Don’t cook on your glass top Wirlpool Range polish it & contact Sears so your coverage will be denied Receive a quote not free & sure not amusing Furthermore Sears sends me a labor quote b4 the tech can turn around What? Polish Your glass Top Don’t count on it or cook on it ……. Sears has AI answering service in my case is a preventive measure to detour proper respect, follow ups and professional solutions Dead end Signed The Recent Widow

I attempted to call them to find out if they had a part in stock after having to push a button at least a dozen times and speaking to nobody I decided that they don't get my business. If you're going to treat people like this as a company good luck existing. Your reply is too late. I already found what I needed and spent my money at a competitor.

I have a Jenn Air gas range. The bake igniter went out. I called sears to come fix it. Twice, because the first time I called the nice Indian lady who's second language is English put in some random address instead of my address so we had to cancel the first order and start another one. I was charged $139 for them to come out and inform me the igniter has went out, which I was already aware of. Then the repair guy said it would cost over $700 to replace it. The part, online is about $50, and through them around $100. He didn't have the part with him because he said his van had broken down and he was in another vehicle. So he showed up unprepared to get the job done. So now it's youtube time. Nothing like getting robbed and then having to do the work yourself.

Took 2 weeks for the repairmen to show up. He spent 5 minutes looking at the washing machine and left. Didn't hear from anyone for another 6 weeks. I was told the washer was unrepairable and was reimbursed for the purchase price. A month later I get a text saying the repairman is coming back to fix it after I had already trashed the old machine and purchased a new one. It seems there is huge lack of communication amongst your company and the field repairman and a lackluster response for repairs on home appliances that we can't live without for more than a week. Who can go nearly 2 months without a washing machine? Nobody! I went ahead and purchased the coverage for the new machine as its better than no protection but please next time get it resolved faster. Thank you.
