The repairman was great and took pains to protect our floor. My issue is with the notification system of his arrival. Initially, I was told 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The day of repair an email narrowed the time to 8:00-10:00. The repairman actually came at 5:30 p.m. That would have been fine had I been given a better time frame estimate at the outset. As it was, I had an entire day wasted in waiting.

corrected the issue promptly. Sears Appliance service needs to come up with a way to more efficiently schedule service stops. Had to wait nearly the entire day for them to arrive without any advance notice of at least AM or PM.

They quoted $129.00 and charged $179.00 for 15 minutes and no parts. Don't know what the $50.00 was for but the labor for the $129.00 should have covered the first hour.

Helping an elderly neighbor and service seemed ok, but unable to talk to a representative for follow-up consultation was extremely frustrating! Will be calling someone local next time....their system is completely AI.
