The service man was great. He checked out the appliance, and explained what the problem was. He then further researched the faulty part and discovered a replacement was not available now and probably would never be available. Lesson learned: do not buy Hisense brand appliances. It's a wonderful product when it works, and absolutely worthless when a part fails and replacements can't be found.
