After sending me a million texts and emails reminding me of my appointment, and trying to sell me an overpriced appliance repair plan, they were a no-call no-show on the day of. If you need appliance repair, go with someone local.

A tech came out, looked at the washing machine, and said that it was the main gear apparatus. The part had to be ordered. Two weeks later after the part arrived, a second tech came in and said that the gears were not the issue, it was the suspension. The suspension had to be ordered, so a third appointment was scheduled. The part never arrived, and the appointment date came and passed without any communication from Sears. The phone numbers were all automated and would hang up on you. I finally was able to cancel, and they said it would be 14-21 business days for a refund IF it was approved. This is without a doubt the worst service that I've ever experienced for any type of repair.

Absolute SCAM of a company. Contacting BBB regarding their breach of contract. One broken dishwasher. 14 appointments. 5 no shows by technicians. 3 months of Sears refusing to replace a broken product. If you have a Sears Warranty contract, cancel it immediately. If you have an appliance that's unrepairable, they will never replace it and continue sending technicians out. Their technicians even state that their supervisors will never approve replacement claims and will never talk to customers. No use calling them, each department is a separate off shore call center and they will keep forwarding you to a different department until you give up.

I scheduled a service call for my washer. When I got my confirmation text, the listed price was twice the amount I had been verbally quoted in my phone call. I tried calling back, but the system, recognizing that my service was already scheduled, told me that there were no live agent services offered. The only support is a virtual assistant. Who could only tell me that I had a service scheduled. So I canceled that service because I will not stand for a bait and switch. And if the price in the online quote was wrong or not reflecting a discount, there was no way to get any assistance.

The virtual scheduler and no live person to take my call really put us over a barrel when the first technician never showed up in the 8-5pm window. No updates or explanation. The rescheduled technician also never showed up between the guaranteed wi dow of 8-5pm two days later. He called at 6:30 to ask if we still wanted him to come! Horrible scheduling with no way to contact a real person was not the technicians fault. In fact they both said that everyone complains about that. Think twice before using them.

I do not recommend Sears Appliance Repair to repair appliances in your home. We had three technicians come to the house to repair a Frigidaire dishwasher, each of which proposed a different solution than the last person, spent $400, the dishwasher still leaks, and the last repair person lost a part to our dishwasher and we cannot find it. Each of the repair persons was 30+ later than the scheduled arrival time. The first repair person thought it was a seal around the door, didn't have the part so he ordered it to be delivered, and we had to schedule another appointment. The second repair person installed the part and thought the problem was a different part, so he ordered a second part and we scheduled another appointment. A third person came and installed the second part. He thought it may be yet another problem requiring a third part, but he did not tell us what he thought it would be. After he installed the second part, he did not stay to check his work. We ran the dishwasher after he left and it is still leaking. Also, the third person did not reinstall the toe panel at the bottom of the dishwasher and now we cannot find it and he's not answering his phone. If you call the main Sears number, AI will answer the phone. The AI recommended that we schedule an appointment for a fourth repair person to come out and install the part that the third repair person lost. We've decided to find a different company to complete the repairs.

He said he was going to let the company know that you guys dont have the required parts for the A.C unit he didn't and just marked the job completed no the job wasn't completed and thats not nice this is an emergency and he cant say he completed a job when he didn't do nothing he just checked the appliance and diagnosed the issue and never reported back to the company he did a poor job. My kids couldn't sleep last night because of the hot weather 😒
