Never use Sears Home Services. The technician may be good, as the one who came to my home was, but if you need to talk to anyone on the phone, you will only get AI agents who have a very limited scope of issues with answers that they can follow and they have no human agents to handle issues/questions outside of that script. One star is an overly generous with this company.

I’m very disappointed that the repairman, Robert, was very deceptive. He had to physically move my washer to reach the outlet and proceeded to finish the job of reading the amps given by the dryer and washer. He wrapped things up and had me sign. Since I am using American home shield, I thought they needed my signature to show that he came and said that there was nothing wrong with the dryer. After he left, I received an email with the actual form that I signed. It was a waiver of all responsibility of damage to my floor, since he moved the washer. It stated that he told me about this prior to moving the washer and that I knew what I was signing. This was very deceptive as his claims were false. I called the only phone number available for this company and a real live person is unavailable. DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST COMPANY.

Technician didn't show up twice, and they don't have a good customer service. I wouldn't recommend no one.

Although the refrigerator was hopefully repaired, time will tell. He was a bit rude, didn’t introduce himself. “Demanded” I sign a wavier in case any thing was damaged or he was leaving. Broke the corner off a plastic shelf he removed then denied doing it until I showed him the shelf and piece that broke off. Told me it would be fine. I told him I paid too much for my week old fridge to already have broken parts. He did find a water line to the ice maker that wasn’t connected and reconnected it. It will take a while to see if it’s fixed.

Ricky was great! But our experience with Sears Appliance Repair overall was terrible. Had to reschedule 3 times (after the diagnostic appointment) due to either a Technician not showing up with no notice, or no technicians being available the day of the appointment. AI system is hard to work with (recorded our address incorrectly) and the chat feature on the website is useless.

Nothing but bad luck on repairing our Maytag washer. The washer still doesn't work after 4 visits. Used to have good luck with the appliance repair, but this was awful. Now looking for another repair service.

Robert was kind, but I did most of all the worst and even diagnosed what was wrong..I literally had to pull out the dryer and washer stackable machines by myself, I had to remove and put on the knew hose and at the end I asked him for some good quality waterproof tape or just tape in general and he replied he had none and none in his truck…so he left without really help and was charged an arm and leg!

I used this company to try fix my dishwasher. The technicians were good but the commutation and customer service was very frustrating. They no called no showed on a day my wife took PTO to accommodate their window. They haven’t offered any discount for this inconvenience. It was impossible to talk to someone about what is we going on and the ai chat left me on hold for over 20 mins. This was a two part service. The first technician said they could fix it the second one said they couldn’t after waiting for two plus weeks without a dishwasher.
