Not happy I wasn't notified the technician wasn't going to make my last appointment until AFTER the appointment time

Our repairman(Mario) for our washer was awesome!!! However, the customer service experience that we had with the call center was disappointing and frustrating. We were automatically scheduled for service calls while we waited for parts to be delivered, but the scheduled us 2 weeks out. Our appointment time was from 8am-5pm, on one appointment (after waiting all day) I got a reschedule notification at 4pm. I had to wait 9 more days for my appointment at which time, we had a no show/no call from them. Again having to wait even longer for another appointment. Mario was scheduled to come out this past Monday and our washer is finally fixed after 7 weeks. My score for Mario is a 5 star, but the call center is only a 3 star.

Technician wouldn’t work on our machine because the model number sticker was missing. I asked if he could call or lookup our model number based on previous work and he said they don’t like to do that. Options were basically buy a new washer. Then proceeded to charge us $139. I thought this was a perfect analogy of modern day customer service. Zero interest in trying to help me find a solution. I called a local repair shop and they said they will do their best to help me identify the part we need. That’s all I’m asking for as a customer - try. Unfortunately we will not be using Sears Home Services for any future services.
