I really don’t do reviews but I really thought that people should know my experience. I’m so disappointed with Sears service I have had them out to my house for other appliances. On July 17th I made an appointment for them to come out to service my dryer. Which by the way is a Samsung gas dryer only 5 years old. Mario was our first service man . He came out checked out the dryer told us that it needed fuse. $340.00 for fuse and service call told us the part would come to our house. Which it did not and no one would tells us where it was. Meanwhile someone from the Sears contacted us asking if we had the part the could come out earlier. We informed them that we did not have the part. Our service was coming up on August 1st. We had no part yet. When a different repairman called to tell us he was on his way to repair the dryer , we let him know we still did have part. Come to find out the part was mailed to (Mario) who did let anyone know he had the part. He came put the part in turned dry on for 20 seconds and said it was fixed, we went to turn on dryer we had the same issue. Called the service department same day the promised to come back the same day. Never happened. The next day the same serviceman can back and asked if he could get us our money back would that be ok with us. We said yes. He contacted the main office informed us that they could only return $190.00 of the $340.00. Then we asked if he could fix it, he responded with out removing anything he tell us we need a new motherboard. I don’t understand why that wasn’t diagnosed the first. We than except the$190.00 back . The serviceman said that the company is very good at refunding the money. I asked for paperwork and he said they don’t do paperwork. It’s now been two weeks and we can not get ahold of anyone at Sears! I will never recommend or use Sears appliances service. One more thing once you have a service ticket it is impossible to reach anyone, the prompts that they have when you do call back are useless!
