Fixed my dryer, but left my back door open, which caused my heat to not automatically shut off. Let all old materials on the dryer, and the belt stuck in my shelf above the dryer. I only gave 3 stars because the dryer does come on, and dries.

I heard this Sears location had to have closed some time in 2020 among other Sears locations in Waldorf, Maryland. I haven't seen it open whenever I visited the mall.

The experience was mediocre. The technician gets a high rating for timeliness and efficiency for identifying and resolving the issue. He receives mediocre rating for patience. I am not an expert in his line of work therefore I had a question or two before I agreed to the repair. Specifically with the lifespan and current age of a component and the logic for replacing versus cleaning. He was impatient and borderline rude in his response and even said something to the effect of ‘instead of talking I could be fixing’. I’d rather not have him return for any servicing.

My washing machine is currently operational; however, it took over a month for Sears to return and install the replacement part following the initial diagnostics. It has been difficult to contact customer service, as the only available option is an AI assistant that was unable to reschedule the appointment. The repair has now been completed, but in the future, I would prefer to engage a contractor who can complete the work more promptly. Thank you.
