Today was the 4th time that I’ve had Sears come out to fix the heat in my house. I am in MD and the temperatures I’ve experienced during this process has been between 10 degrees and lately 40 degrees. Every time they come out they do something minor and say it’s fixed. Then I have to wait another 5 days for them to come back out for the same heating issue. My unit needs to be replaced and the technicians, for whatever reason, refuse to make that report and instead do patchwork. I am in the house with my 11 year old and we had to use electric heaters, which we don’t keep on over night do to safety concerns. Zero stars From a Sears Warranty Member

My window of arrival time was from 7am to 11am.The technician arrived at my home at 515 pm. There was no kind of communication of being late after 11am. There should be some kind of compensation for a clients entire day wasted with no communication. At least service fee waved.

The rep was nice but conf to find out, he never put in an order for the parts he told me were needed. Also he said while we wait, we could still use the normal cycle that would rinse and spin. That was not true again water set at the base and clothes were soaked. When I called the warranty company they said the tech was going to come out the next day to fix it. The second rep called and conf to find out he didn't have the parts so he didn't come but instead said oh give it a few more days for the parts. Later that day I started getting text messages saying the rep came and completed the service. That was not true at all. So I don't know if he tried to get paid for services he didn't complete or not. I ended up calling my warranty company again and he had to reopen the ticket for yet another day and service call to diagnose the problem because the first rep never documented the issue but he told me it was an issue with the drum so my clothes weren't spinning. This has been hectic and causing us to have to go to the laundromat. We have a big family that includes kids and two dogs. We need that. Also based on the first reps claim that normal cycle worked, we tried it and had a washer full of soaked clothes that we had to ring out and ruin through 3 heavy duty dryer cycles to avoid mildew like the first load.

The time I was given for the technician to come out was between 1-5pm I got home at 11:30 and saw that he had came at 0918 that morning. This is unacceptable when it took 5 days or more to get someone out to fix the air conditioner

Service was unsatisfactory. The technician scammed Me out of $200 when I have a home warranty. Plus never provided me with a receipt. Basically pocketed the money for himself. Plus the work wasn't entirely completed. Will be contacted the corporate office soon.
