Great effort at repair
Joseph tried to get our refrigerator up and running by going through a series of diagnostic steps and also tried to contact GE technical support but was not able to reach anyone before they closed at 5 pm The GE technical support phone tree setup was horrible and had him on hold for nearly 1/2 The time he was here. Ultimately he had to leave and our refrigerator is not repaired.

Edward did an excellent job and called us to let us know when he would be arriving. My only complaint is the fact i received the part for the dryer on Monday and i couldn't get an appointment until late Thursday. This is not a complaint about the technician.

The diagnosis and repair was quick. FYI for those who are medically fragile/ still engaging in COVID precautions, technician scoffed at our request for him to wear a mask ("you guys didn't get vaccinated?") and asked to remove it when talking to us after the repair was complete, which I found to just be generally disrespectful of someone else's home and a very clear boundary set and specified in the online service request.

Ryan did fine, although he left indentations in the panel. I was able to get to him before he left. He easily fixed the indentations. I shouldn't have had to ask him to come back into my home to fix it. That aside he did a great job.

General technician/repair person or refrigerator specialty or washer/dryer guy... or "laundry"tech?.... Who was i supposed to ask for to come "service: the frontload (older) washer machine. Well, it all went better than okay, and the discovery of hose defect - worth finding out before bigger problems happened. So, appreciated this gentleman's time and effort, and inspection efforts. Left us with some homework to complete the repair and info on where to go and what items to get - so, we can/need to better maintain the machine. Thank you... SS

He fixed my washer top but now the water is not coming in to wash. I was able to wash my before he fixed the washer now I can't. He said he switched the water hose around, not sure if that was the cause.i told him what was happening and he told me to put in another ticket because he can't come back out, which is another $100 that I don't have. I need to wash my clothes and even though the top was broke I still was able to wash now I can't. This is putting a damper in my daily activities.

Technician was very polite and worked diligently. The light panel is back on and I hear a motor trying to turn/churn where ice should be going out(?) BUT IT IS STILL NOT MAKING ANY ICE!!!

Repair of icemaker
Old parts were broken and old parts need to be kept with the owners. He insisted he will take them which I did not let hime take. However the main PCB was taken away. When asking for signature I should be shown the document that I am signing. After installing the parts the freezer is not working. There was no confirmation that made to see even if the water is coming into the freezer. The service technicians need to follow basic steps. At the moment the repairs are unsuccessful.

Very disappointed and uncomfortable.
We were very uncomfortable with Raymond D. If asked any questions he became Argumentative and condescending. His helper was very polite but also seemed uncomfortable. Raymond attempted to correct our erratic temperature Wise oven in the 4 visits me made here. His first visit was to tell my husband the oven just wast given enough time to heat. The second visit because his suggestions didn't correct the problem which Raymond D. Insisted was corrected! On the third visit the floor was left soaking wet from snow tracked in. Not wiped up by and an order put in for parts. On his 4th visit we were sent 2 of the three parts Raymond D. said were ordered. We did not open the packages and left them sealed for when Raymond arrived as they came to our address. We also showed him a copy of a text sent to us saying the technician would be sent the parts and only two were listed. My 85 year old husband pulled out the stove, unplugged it and cleaned out the drawer under the oven before Raymond D. arrived trying to appease him. Having dealt with him 3 times before. When he left after his 4th visit to put on the two new parts he waited for the oven to heat and maintain the temperature setting. We tried to explain what it had been doing and was met with aggression. When the oven got to 350 degrees he simply walked out the door leaving it open as he left to us showing his defiances. It's our thought he is a very angry person, unhappy with his job and customers. We will not be calling to have any additional work done "IF" the oven should give us additional problems. We would also not be interested in getting additional coverage for any other problem out of fear we would be visited again by Raymond D. We're sorry to send this along but you really should be aware. We'd hate to think these were isolated situation just with us.
