His services were fine, however the idea that the parts quoted is $700 and you can find the parts anywhere online for a fraction of the cost is embarrasing. This has nothing to do with the tech, more of the brazen attempt to basically scam. To add, I'm able to find OEM parts recommended for the repair even at a moderate price still over half of the price quoted. So the tech did what he was paid to do, the $130 dx fee, but the suggested repair cost is why I've rated this 3 stars.

The repair guys was friendly and cool also knew what the problem was already because this probably was his 5 or six time coming to fix my dryer! They sent him to my home in his personal vehicle which he explained that he couldn’t fix it without his work van! I explained to him with the money I spend a month for the home warranty and the deductible I pay for them to come fix it that i could’ve paid for 3 brand new dryer! I think the home warranty is a joke but the guys they send do their best and are always friendly and get the work done fast!

Not only does this company not have a live person that you can speak to, but they are also crooks. First, he was going to charge my warranty for the service call, but told me he could not service me because I didn’t have a video of the oven doing the error code, even though I had a picture of it. So he was gonna basically not do anything and still get paid. I went back out there and said something to him about having a picture of it doing the error code and had shown him that and that I was concerned that it would start a fire if it continued because that’s what it said on the Internet. The coward came up and told me that they were going to either reimburse or do a payout for my oven, but come to find out seconds later after he left. The assurance denied me and said that the man said that my oven looks like it had never been cleaned before. It just so happens that the one time that he comes out it wasn’t in the best cleanliness. I have proof from the prior technician that when he came out, it was spot cleaned. Because of this, my family of 8 is denied for a warranty replacement or service. All I wanted was my oven to be safe. It’s only a year old and was purchased at Lowe’s. I have had issues since I got it and just because it was dirty the day that he came he had the nerve to write that on my paper without even asking me about it. All he had to do was ask if my oven had ever been cleaned before and I couldn’t provide him proof of that but now I have to fight the warranty service because of him. Dear alert to let me know that the technician was on his way told me he was gonna be there at a certain time and he didn’t get there until an hour to hour and a half later. I didn’t make a big deal because I’m not that kind of person but to have him come in and act like he didn’t even wanna do the job and then he goes and denies me, but he tells me something totally different because he doesn’t wanna deal with confrontation. I would’ve rather him have communicated with me and told me upfront so that I could’ve provided him proof that his accusations were incorrect.

I would not recommend y’all to nobody. I take off work to get my washer serviced and y’all don’t show up can not get a person on line to talk to. Cost me a lot of money. Will never use sears repair again

Broken fridge, scheduled my appointment last Friday. Appointment was supposed to be in about half an hour. Then they rescheduled for a week out without contacting and without my consent. Even better, they don't even have a live person available to speak to. I called 4 separate numbers and you get an AI assistant every time. Garbage company, garbage service. Hopefully the repair portion goes out of business just like the department stores. EDIT: The number they responded with goes to the same automated system that links you to an AI chat bot that can't help. The review stands, garbage company, garbage service, and garbage ethics. They've completely replaced customer service staff with a broken system. Screw Sears.

Edit to add: The sears response to this review does nothing. The # is still just the automatic number. Can never talk to anyone. How are they still in business? Sears is awful. My new speed queen has sat with broke pully for 4 weeks and can't get ahold of anyone. My appt was canceled and made for a later date. Can't talk with anyone its all AI.

Mark from Sears came to my home to make a diagnosis on my stove top but failed to look at all components to make a correct diagnosis and never turned on oven to make sure it worked nor did he check circuit breaker or anything, instead he wrote up that cook top and oven was shorted out(without turning oven on or taking anything apart) and not working due to a power surge and recommend that the oven and cook top needed to be replaced so that the estimate of repair could cost more than it needed to with replacing oven elements which totaled over $700 and wasn't covered under my warranty which means i would have had to pay cost out of pocket. I requested for another technician to come out from another company and just as suspected, the second technician(from another company) diagnoses was only that 1 of my stove top burners needed to be replaced which was covered under my home warranty and didn't cost me any additional money. Sears needs to have better technicians and service, I was very unsatisfied and disappointed.
