Technician was fine. Waited all day for the Sears repair person. He said we need a new dryer door switch and wanted to charge $400. I was born at night but not last night. I checked online and the part is $7-25. And there is a video showing us how to do it. We ordered the part and hope to fix it ourselves. Wish us well. 😆

Appointment was for dryer, tech said it was for washing machines, clearly you screwed up, you had the model number and the serial number! Contacted Lowe’s and they said it was for my LG dryer!

Felt RIPPED OFF. Repairman came in and based on what he was told, didn't have to diagnose anything. It was a simple switch needing replacement. The part was $80 and for 30 min repair he charged an additional $300 labor. Never again Sears and I'll NEVER Recommend you to anyone except to tell them to steer clear. The minimum labor charge, whether it takes 5 min, or 4 hours is $300.00 He took less 30 minutes. And please don't be fooled by the "response" to contact them. Even that is a scam. All you get is the ability to make another appointment. NEVER AGAIN
