Ronald failed to unplug GE Washer before he left our residence at the end of the 1st appointment to assess the problem & order parts on 1/9/25, after asking him to disconnect washer because of a continuous flashing light in the tub every 10 seconds accompanied with a noise. We knew we wouldn’t be able to unplug Washer because of the location of the electrical outlet behind washer & dryer, the height of appliances on the pedestals & the weight of the appliances. My husband has Parkinson’s & was unable to unplug washer. I called Ronald right away after he left since he lives close by & left a voice mail message asking him to return to unplug washer because we were afraid of a fire hazard. Also called Ronald a second time requesting he please come unplug washer. The 2nd appointment to repair washer wasn’t until January 27th. Ronald failed to respond to my two voice mail messages. We had to ask a younger neighbor for help. He had to bring a wooden board to put over the laundry room sink & climb on it to reach behind washer & dryer to unplug washer. My husband is a disabled Vietnam Vet with Parkinson’s! Desperate for assistance before we heard back from our neighbor, I called back to Lowe’s Extended Warranty number/A & E Factory Service twice. 1st time I was told they couldn’t help me by a rude employee named Ralph. Second time I called, I was told that they would send a message to Ronald to return to unplug washer & would call me back. No phone call was received from either A&E Factory Service or Ronald. The 2nd visit by Ronald to install new parts ordered was great. Ronald even told us that he did indeed receive the messages after 1st appointment about needing to unplug washer but couldn’t return.😡.

They tried to up sale everything. They would not fix one bad wire connection, They said they would have to replace an entire wire harness, that and labor would have been $600. I spent 3 dollars at Home Depot and fixed it myself. The did find the problem.

I had an absolutely terrible experience today. I took an entire day off work (unpaid) because the service window was 8am-5pm. My technician (Bobby) showed up, looked at my washer for about 10 min and then went out to his truck for another 10 min. When the technician returned he informed me that when he tried to "call it in" they couldn't pull my claim and work order up and because of that he was leaving without fixing my washer. I asked Bobby for clarification, which he did not provide. He kept telling me it wasnt on his end, it was on my protection plan service's end. I promptly pulled up every confirmation email I had received with my claim number and order number attached to each one, begging Bobby to call his office again and double check because I could NOT take off another day of work unpaid in this economy. Bobby refused to call anyone or help me find a solution. He told me I would have to figure it out and left. I was forced to file another repair claim with the protection plan company and schedule another service day. When I finished, I called the repair company to ensure that they had all of the proper information this time and the representative I spoke with informed me that not only did they have the proper information for my next appointment, but she could also see all of the information for the appontment I had today, the one Bobby told me he didnt have the information for. I am so upset and disheartened by this entire experience. It was a company error or computer glitch and instead of helping me figure it out and make things right, I was told I was on my own. The fact that Bobby refused to even try calling his office back in front of me with all of the claim and order information is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope that nobody else has this terrible experience.
