Joe, the serviceman that was sent to repair our GE dryer, went far and beyond to properly correct and repair our issue with the dryer. He was was also very helpful in determining what may have created the issue with our dryer, in hopes that we may not have a reoccurring issue of the same nature.

Jerome (Joe) was friendly , professional, and communicative. Within 2 or 3 mins he diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately for me , he couldn’t get any parts for it. The refrigerator is only like 6 years old., and no parts for it . Me and my wife very dissappointed. So we were out 119$ and it was not fixed. It seems most appliances can’t get fixed anymore. Have to just buy a new one. Way it is most of the time . We Went to Lowe’s and did that. Joe was great , and he couldn’t help they didn’t have the part. It was just frustrating. . Out 119 $ And nothing done. Took him 2 min to diagnose. He knows his stuff. Just have to accept a lot of appliances can’t get fixed.

Each technician that came out was great. Great attitude, great customer service, but the over all experience was awful. Will never do it again. I will buy a whole new fridge before going through sears repairs again. There is no way to talk to an actual human until the tech gets to your house. AI has destroyed any type of customer service this company has before techs get involved. You can’t even reach back out to the tech once they complete their task. I will never recommend them again unless they get rid of AI BECAUSE this was ridiculous. Plus it took over a month to get a tech out to fix the freezer when it only took a day to get someone to look at it and take my money.

My home warranty company contracted with Sears to repair my fridge. Tech came out the next day, 8-5-25, and said the computer board was bad. This is a $3,000 2022 GE that had the compressor replaced 3 months after it was purchased. Part arrived the next day, 8-6-25 and I texted Sears that the part arrived and they assigned me an 8-22-25 repair date. Imagine what my wife said. Anyway, I could not get that date moved up and guess what, nobody showed up on 8-22-25. On 8-28-25 after using as much tact as I could, my warranty company could not get Sears to assign a new date. They were released from my work. Interestingly enough I still get an email every day from Sears saying the part for my fridge is delayed. Thankfully it was installed today. Remember the part arrived on 8-6-25 and Sears was notified it had arrived.
