I have a relatively old clothes washer (Kenmore 2009 model). It broke in early February. Atec came about 5 days after I reported a problem. It took about 6 weeks to find a part. Then Sears repair scheduled 2 different visits but did not come. When the parts were replaced by another tech, he tried to new part which worked, but did not try a whole cycle. The machine now won't run but just a part of a cycle. So, I had to start a new repair order and Sears cancelled first visit, so I am waiting another week fr mutually acceptable day that I can be here from 8-5. If it is fixed then, it will be approx. 3 months. This is covered by an extended warranty. If the repairs are finally made successfully, I will not have to pay for them, but it has cost me about $260. in laundromat service.

My dryer was cutting off after 5-10 seconds. Repair crew showed up on 12/6 and replaced a belt pulley which didn’t fix it. They ordered 2 additional parts and said they would arrive on 12/11/24 and required me to pay for 12/6 service plus the parts and labor cost for when they return. It is now 12/23 and I’ve heard nothing and can’t get any firm updates. Both parts show available in Sears parts website but they ordered these from the manufacturer. Inquired about a full refund and was told that the $129 diagnostic fee was non-refundable if I cancelled the order. NEVER AGAIN Sears. The overall process deserves a 1 but today’s tech was a 5. On12/30 the new tech showed up and at the time only the thermostat arrived but not the belt. He said it needed neither and ran across town for a “thermistor” which got me running again. The final price changed from $463.37 to 372.67 and getting in touch with someone to inquire about a refund was a hot mess

I’m giving them 3 stars. The time it took to get someone to my house took forever, I had the first technician tell us that we only had to just unplug our fridge and it would be fine. The second one actually took the time to diagnose our fridge and have parts sent to us. However, that took two weeks and then an additional 2 MONTHS to get someone out to fix it AFTER the parts came in. Once we finally got someone, he was amazing fixing our fridge. Our technician, Johnathan, I would rate 5/5. He was amazing and went above and beyond with fixing our fridge. So while it took forever to get someone out, when they finally did, he was wonderful.

This is the 2nd visit in a week and the dryer is still not functioning properly. Running for hours. There seems to be little to no heat.

The washer is still not working after it was fixed apparently with the control board panel. It was a quick repair but not the right diagnostic for my washer and still doing the same the thing as last time. The sensor was broken before and cause it to stop after filling and before starting to wash. And turns off after then I would have restart and it does over again the same thing.

I had to wait three different days before the technicians showed up. The problem was not fixed. The work is under warranty, so I will call for more service.

Bobby was great, but you all need to honor your contracts and stop trying to not pay legitimate claims. I have spoken with several techs and all say this is a legitimate claim and should be covered. I will share my experience on every network if this problem is not rectified!

All I needed was a heating element and only took 20 minutes and was charged $750. I think that is ridiculous when the part was only around $100 to $150. I will tell everyone that your company is a rip off and having the name Sears should mean better prices for everyone. Very disappointed!!! Didn't even take the old element with him. Didn't know that I was buying a new dryer!

Steven came at the said time. very nice gentleman. After I explained that the hot water had previously frozen and since been flushed, which pushed sediment into the faucet and dishwasher, he said it could only be an( intake valve?) which needed to be replaced at approximately $450. I declined the work and he left me with a $119 service call bill. I reached out to my favorite repairman who cleaned out a filter in the bottom front of dishwasher and flushed hose 8-10 times to flush out junk. This was done in less than 30min for $90 .He also said that the part Steven quoted for $450Service call included, was $150 plus his $90service call had I needed it. That is $120 difference in price! What really disgusted me is that Sears could have repaired the problem but chose not to even try to repair the clog, but rather try to sell a higher price part plus ANOTHER service call. Obviously, I will NEVER use Sears service again!
