Very thorough troubleshooting. Provided me with a report and suggested fix which I followed and everything is working today.

The service call went very well Tech was very knowledgeable and personable. However, it took over 6 weeks to get the repair done. The computers involved need to talk to each other better! A customer needs to be able to reach a live person much, much more easily!

For my $129, the website says I'd get a call from the technician with a chance to show the issue. Did not happen. Tech was here a risk of about 10 minutes. Quoted a $160 Part that COULD have been ordered ahead of time was going to take 1 week for over $400 in ADDITIONAL fees for a simple plug-and play component that is a readily known issue on my Maytag... I don't mind paying a little for convenience and service... but this is highway robbery! I should have known better. Owners response was to have ME call them??? Really? Customer service at its worst. If truly interested they would order part, charge a REASONABLE price, and install without charging any more service fee.

The repairman was great. However, I needed to get back in touch with sears after the original schedule was set. It was virtually impossible to reach a human being to converse with. After an hour and numerous attempts I finally got transferred around to a person with broken English who obviously was reading a script and had no idea how to help in any other way. If it weren't so difficult to find anyone localy that works on appliances I would say I would never use them again.
