Today we had Ryan who does an excellent job when he does our maintenance check. It only took 2-3 appointment and kept being move up and finally today it was looked at. Your 800 number people need to understand when we make an maint. check to include all are stuff! Very unhappy with your service, but most of the time your service people are very good.

The technician Nicholas was friendly and did a great job. I would rate his service at a 5 star. The scheduling department needs some help. I scheduled 3 appointments to have my dryer fixed and the last one was on the date of the appointment.

Our service technician was great. He was friendly and got his job done quickly. Sears Appliance Repair, however, has got to change the way they conduct their business. They sent a text cancelling my appointment for 6/25 because they said the part that was ordered wouldn't arrive in time, but it had actually already arrived. I had no number to call and let them know this. You can only talk to via AI! On 7/9, no one ever came to the appointment! The company gives you an arrival window between 8a- 5pm, and it wasn't until 3:15 that I discovered on my own that no one was coming. I wasted that entire day waiting for no one to arrive! On 7/17, I was given the window of 8-5 again. The tech did come around 3:45 and completed the repair. While I am satisfied with the tech and his ability to complete the repair, I would not recommend using this company until they can improve their customer service.

Our experience with these guys has been so frustrating. We purchased the home warranty plan which means you have to select a rather innocuous link to schedule appointments or the tech comes out and tells you he can’t service the appliance because you used the wrong site. Then you wait even longer to schedule an appointment and the very same guy comes out. We would have one guy come out he would “fix” something only to have it not work. Another guy comes out and tells us the first guy didn’t know what he was doing. They basically ended up totally rebuilding our washing machine. Now we have a problem with a 3 yr old GE Cafe Dishwasher. Again, with the home warranty plan it takes longer to get the very same tech as if you didn’t have the plan (two weeks). The guy comes out, says he fixed it by cleaning out the filter and the pressure switch only to have the unit work even less than it did before. No water pressure in the washer. And with the Sears Home Warranty program, I get to pay $50 a month for this quality service.

I was cheated. I called the service for microwave, which turned but wasn't heating. The service man did not even take the microwave out, didn't check what failed, but listed all the parts possibly failed, and told that I need to pay upfront to order them, then they will check which one has failed and I was quoted more than $900. New microwave with installation costs half of that...to tell this is paid $249...This doesn't need a home visit. I was ripped off.

Edit 3/6/26 - Ethan was fine. Fridge still not working. $476 later! Can’t talk to anyone. First they said it was one thing, then another thing and still not working properly. Choose anyone but Sears Repair Service. Edit 2/16/26 - still waiting to speak with someone or get some help. Whatever you do avoid Sears Repair Service at all cost. You can’t speak to anyone. You can’t as for the service to be done correctly and the reach out with an automated phone tree. Another appointment being charged $129 because the call can’t be coded as a revisit to fix what they didn’t fix the first time. A message with no follow through. Absolutely terrible and don’t believe all the 5 star reviews like I did because it’s a sham!!! Scheduled another call with the A I BOT. Here's the problem I couldn't complain about the first repair not being done correctly and still having the issue. The tech, Frank, was great. He told me that he would have to charge me another $125 on top of the $381.00 already paid. He stated he couldn't change the classification on my appointment. SO I have to reschedule AGAIN! This is beyond ridiculous. You should be able to speak with someone especially if the repair wasn't done correctly. Waiting on appointment #3. Had service done on a refrigerator and it wasn’t correct. We have been trying for a week to reach someone but it’s AI only, which is extremely frustrating. Taking actual human out the mix is crazy.

Frances finally was the one who fixed our 3 year old Whirlpool Refrigerator that needed a compressor its cooling now finally after 10 weeks of run around, unnecessary repairs, poor communication with AI, no follow-up by management, waiting for part orders, having one technician say its one thing and the next disagreeing with the one previous, complaining to the BBB, missing multiple days of work waiting for a technician only to have the visit rescheduled and paying $899 most likely for an unnecessary repair for an evaporator coil and dryer filter that they even told us was a rare repair. Unbelievable.
