Technician “Bell” did the job fine (I guess). He had trouble getting the bottom element out of the oven and seemed frustrated. He asked for a fan, which I got for him, and that was fine. When he finished he told me that I could take care of the large box that the element came in and the getting rid of the old element. I asked “you don’t take the box?” He said no we don’t take any parts and walked out the door. I was a little shocked because he had turned the oven on but didn’t wait to make sure it got up to temperature. I didn’t even have a chance to thank him. So I cleaned up and turned the oven off and went back to work. Hopefully everything is working fine. I don’t think I will call Sears Homes Services again.

I believe the technician did a good job replacing the control board but we still have the same issue with the sound that led to the board damage. It sounds like a creeky sound when the dishwasher is turned on.

Horrible service! I paid for my washer and dryer to be serviced. Sears technician advised me to wait for a part to come in for my washer before servicing my dryer. It took 60 days for them to locate 2 parts and get them mailed to me. By that time sears said they could no longer service my dryer because it was pass 30 days. Will not use again!

I am unbelievably frustrated after reporting my washer broken in DECEMBER. It's still not fixed today. I called the Sears number to request compensation and a refund for my policy agreement, which they are clearly not living up to, and instead of a refund, I ended up with a person telling me they canceled my policy (which was supposed to be good for several more years) there was nothing they could refund me, and nothing they could do about it. WHAT? This was after months of "rescheduled" appointments by the system and waiting for a service appointment that never arrived. I have had a Sears policy for nearly 20 years on one item or another, and I can't believe this is how it ends. I was told a supervisor would call me and "fix the problem". No call. Weeks have passed, and nothing. This is definitely not worth the money. Sears can no longer be trusted.

Tech “fixed” my dishwasher today and now it’s freaking leaking. Didn't even test it before he left. I am now stuck with a leaking dishwasher that IS ruining my floors. Thanks a lot. To add insult to injury, their phone support is horrible. Called the number on the website, emails and even in the comments of this review. Takes you to a robo operator that is nearly impossible to talk to a real person. Had to find a reddit post for a hack. When I got through to a person, best they could do, to make it right, was schedule me for a service visit 2 weeks out. That's it. Which would have been just as quick if I had schedule it online. Now I'm without a dishwasher for 2 weeks because of their "fix", my dishwasher was at least working before the tech serviced it. Horrible repair service, horrible customer service. Do not use the, probably cheaper and faster to buy a new dishwasher. 5/09/25 Update: Tech came out to fix the water leak on May 7th after a rescheduled no show the week before. Was here for 10 minutes, said it must be a bad part, did some ordering on his phone and left. He was nice to work through the red tape on his end to make sure I didn't have to pay for anything and order a new part. He said he couldn't schedule a new install date, that would come from the system. Part arrived the next day on May 8th. Got an email about picking a time for my repair and the best they could do is June 4th. A month. Even worse, can't talk to anyone on the phone and all the AI bots can't even find a record of appointment. I have to now wait longer, maybe? Who knows, I might be stuck in an appointment limbo to fix the problem you caused. Thanks. If I could give this place a zero out of five I would.

I have made 6 different appointments to repair my Sharp microwave. No one has ever showed up to make the repair. The last appt. They showed the technician was at my house making the repair. That is a lie. No technician showed up. Then they marked my service request as complete. Another lie. Do not use their service. Also there is no way to contact them by phone. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Zero rating This was a terrible service. Barely checked out the mower. Put air in the tires and for that I paid over $200.00 Rip off does not describe what happened today. Never again. Shame on Sears for stealing money from senior citizens on fixed incomes.

The service technician was here today and said my washing machine was fixed. When I went to use it the same issue occurred and it stopped working. I’ve spent over 2 hours trying to get ahold of someone who can get the technician back to my home and all I get is transferred from one person to another. I have been without my washing machine for almost a month.
