The technician didn't cover his shoes and walked through the house. He didn't clean up the mess he left on the floor from fixing the dryer. Not very professional.

The service man was outstanding, but I have a problem with the bait and switch on the price of the service. I received an email for $50 off service and it wasn't honored unless I purchased a warranty plan. Also, the price of the service was unreasonable once quoted for a simple fix. I refused the service and will go elsewhere for service in the future

Technician came and put the parts on refrigerator and instructed me to clean water out the bottom half. He didn't want to wait for me to turn the refrigerator on to see if it was properly working. Turns out the refrigerator still not working right.

I was very disappointed in this Sears experience. I was given a vague 8:00am - 5:00pm time frame when I scheduled appt. On day of repair, time kept changing from 2:25pm, to 3:00pm and finally 5:04pm via email. There was no phone call and repair person showed up at 3:20. Part charges were reasonable, but labor would have been $418.00 without $119.00 diagnostic fee subtraction! (Even $299.00 seems like a lot.) I felt rushed into making a decision on whether to repair or not. Paper work was emailed and says washer is 20 years old; it's only 12 which I told repair person. Also, he told me I would receive a 25% coupon for purchase of new washer from Sears and haul away was available. The coupon I received by email was only 10% and site says no haul away. Sears service used to be excellent - what's happened??? Sadly, it's doubtful we will ever use Sears again. The end of an era.

Your prices are just ridiculous. You quoted me $980 to fix my washer which I ended up doing for $100 in parts and finished the job in 20 minutes.

Edit* There is no one to speak to. The responses are AI and there is no human to contact or speak to. Just a fair warning. My advice is to call a local business, I did yesterday and there was someone at my house within the hour. Also cheaper. Last year we had the same problem and I decided to give Sears another chance against my better judgement. Nobody ever showed up, I received updates the whole day but nobody ever came.

Didn't seem interested in fixing the problem, estimated the cost would be 450.00 dollars to repair 3ft of tubing and Didn't have the materials to repair it. I repaired it for 15.oo and would likel the service charge returned. By the way, the water leak was visible to see .
