Our kitchenaid dishwasher needed repair. It was under warranty - having bought it only 2yrs ago from Lowe’s. The service technician diagnosed a faulty motor and told me that the new motor will be shipped to our address. Friday morning I got an automated message that the motor was delivered and they will come to replace it. I could not find the motor. I called Sears Appliance Repair and there was simply an AI agent who told me to also look under the bushes and the backyard in case the motor was left there. There was no way to reach a live agent and no tracking number for the parts. I spent several hours trying to locate the motor, talk to service agent or seek answers from Lowe’s. No one helped. To add to this frustration, they kept moving my appointment by 30 min and the automated messages kept coming till the end of the day and then they simply said - the appointment was moved to Monday. All week and into the weekend I did dishes for my family of five - very elderly parents (97 and 99yr old), a disabled daughter and my husband at work. Finally on Monday morning when the technician came, he said that the motor was delivered to them and he fixed the dishwasher. The Technician was excellent, efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. He made all the problems right.
