Good a thorough diagnosis. He did research however he was told the part was not available due to age of the furnace. Sears Home warranty. Want me to find a provider to find the part to get it repaired and submit the bill to them and they’ll decide whether they’re going to reimburse me. That’s what I pay them to do with the home warranty service. This is not fair. In the past if they couldn’t repair it, then they would replace it. This is shady..

Tech was great. Scheduling was horrible. They scheduled me from 8-5 on a Friday and then at 2pm canceled the appt. Then I was rescheduled for Mon again 8-5 and was again canceled because the parts that were showing as delivered were never delivered. Had to get rescheduled a third time. Who gives a window of 8-5? The whole entire day?

I was happy that Pedro was able to get my old dryer working again, but what I didn't like to hear from him and the Sears phone sales person was that I really should think about paying $47 per month for extended insurance on my 28 year old washer and dryer. By doing this I could save $100, but if added up over the course of a year, I would lose $564 dollars. I don't like hard sells from maintenance people or phone sales people and I am pretty sure no one else does either! I have never had a Sears repair center stoop to these levels in the past and I would appreciate it if they would not do it in the future.

I had a few issues with Sears Home repair. The technician was great but customer service was lacking. I do not think I will use them again.
