UPDATE: I missed 4 days of work sitting home waiting for my scheduled appointments only to have nobody show up, no call, no notification that they were not coming! On the fifth day, I actually got a text and an email that said my appointment was canceled and rescheduled because the parts were on order. THE PARTS HAD BEEN DELIVERED 4 DAYS AGO! So to sum up my nightmare, I was forced to pay $985 in advance. Tech #1 showed up for the first appointment & said it was fixed but the refrigerator remained at 68°. The second tech showed up, ordered parts, which were delivered the next day but he was quitting to go work for Diamond Factory Service because A&E has gone A.I. (no human contact). So I kept calling Sears to schedule my appointment, but the computer chat bot would not let me because they claimed the parts were not here yet even though they were delivered 3 days ago. The next 4 appointments I waited but nobody showed up or called. When I called the MANY different phone numbers they have, all you get is a computer, a chat bot, that cannot help you! So unbelievably frustrating I went out shopping for a new refrigerator THAT IS NOT A SEARS BRAND! I continued to receive texts saying they were rescheduling my appointments because my parts were on order but the parts arrived 5 days ago! On day 5 a tech called & said he was rescheduling because he did not have a soldering iron. Day 6 No-Show again. I would give zero stars if it was an option. Now I am $985 in the hole with a broken refrigerator, spoiled food, and a company that cannot answer their phones. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE, don’t buy a Sears product and if you do, DONT CALL SEARS HOME SERVICE WHEN IT BREAKS DOWN! If I was not so exhausted I would attach a screenshot of my 200 phone calls of my unsuccessful attempts to find a human to help me get a repairman here.

Technician was ill equipped to repair anything. I had sent pictures of what drier I had and the error code the day before which also indicated what could be wrong so the needed pieces could be brought with him. When he removed the piece that what was what I suggested was bad, he tested it and it showed no ohms indicating that was it. He checked his van and no part even thought he said his computer told him he had one. He then told me that it was micro ohms not ohms for that piece that when I looked it up was incorrect. He then checked the control panel and the numbers fell into the parameters he showed me yet he said the panel was bad. He then told me it would be $500 or more to repair but didn’t have that piece with him either. On the good side he did vacuum the lint out but with my vacuums. Very different outcome than when I had with sears appliance repair out in years past. Disappointed and out $129. Purchased a dryer at Best Buy who price match and if I have issues in the future will send the geek squad out.

Run! Run! Run! Do NOT use these people. Worst business I’ve ever had to deal with. Had someone come out and do a diagnosis on the dishwasher. Diagnosis was incorrect. So I’m out the money I spent on them to come out and the money and time I spent on the part. Mistakes happen, I get it. To make it up they were to come out again to rediagnose. Spent all day waiting on them to show up. Never did. Then they canceled the appt saying I was not home. I was. They never showed. Proof being that they never even called as they are supposed to when they are on their way. Even still, willing to let them make it up. However, I spend over 3 hours on the phone just being left on hold being told I’m being transferred to someone who can help. At this point I’m furious. After hours of screaming at them to just get me to someone, they finally say they’ll get someone else out to diagnose. End of the day again no one shows. Do not ever use these people. It’s nearly impossible to get to a human being through customer service and trust me you’ll need it because they do nothing right. At this point I’m challenging any charges for the diagnosis with my credit card and hoping they will not be paid as they did not give an accurate diagnosis plus they wasted my time multiple days waiting on them to show up and money on parts they said were the issue. I promise you, you will not be happy trying to go through these people. *also they wanted to charge me $125 for a $25 part and $325 for labor to replace the part…a part I was able to replace myself in 30 minutes and I have zero mechanical knowledge. Edit: In response to the comment left by the business: I have tried calling that number. And you guys only made it worse. That number is automated and then when you finally get to a person they give you the run around and when trying to get a supervisor you are left on hold for hours on end. You can reach out to me directly and refund my charge from the nonexistent diagnostic I was given not to mention the other money and time spent deal you with you guys or don’t expect payment as I will be challenging any charges from you with my credit card company and being sure to get the word out everywhere to avoid you guys.

Terrible customer service ran by AI. Over charged me and I cant even speak to someone I have to leave a email. Never told me cost before fixing I would have never paid $740 to get a washer fixed I could just buy a new one. No repsonse as of yet. I hate Sears i will never buy anything from again. Everyday i am continue to post. Until my issuse is resolved. It has taken 4 days from a response by email. To tell me they can do nothing because i paid and signed for the bill. The repairman would not leave my house so what am i suppose to to do. Customer service is Ai and email. So if i would not have paid they would call the police on me? No one gave me a option to say no to the estimate because no looked at my machine. Repairman came and fixed what Ai told him. This preadtory for Sears to do this to thier customers. It sould be a cheaper route but i would never know. Never Never buy appliances from Sears.

The tech came out and started with the fact that someone else was supposed to come but he ended up coming instead for whatever reason. He started off with I already know what’s wrong with it. It happens to all of them. But had no tools to show me anything. He literally did nothing but scratch my fridge. I noticed it after he left. He called someone else to ask them how to remove the piece to verify the problem. But did not have any tools to take it out and show me what was wrong. He pretty much guessed. After doing research on the part a lot of people are stating it may be the wiring and not the panel he claimed was wrong. I would never recommend sears to anyone. Bad service.

If I could give ZERO stars - I would! To start - tech didn’t show up on the day we were originally scheduled. Then showed up at the end of the second day. Wish my fiance would have just went to work both days & NOT MISSED 2 DAYS PAY! When he was there, he ignored the fault code on our washer/dryer combo. Ran a <5 min text to see if it got up to drying temp (with zero wet clothes in it or anything at all - for that matter) then said nothing was wrong with it. Yet, it takes 10+ HOURS to dry a regular load! We completely clean it before every load. Not just the lint trap, the drain as well. Ridiculous. The tech then said, “There have been a lot of people with same problem with this washer/dryer combo. I just recommend buying a dryer and only using this unit as a washer.” WELL THE WHOLE REASON WE SPENT DOUBLE ON THE UNIT WAS SO WE DIDN'T HAVE 2 SEPARATE UNITS!! IF LG WANTS TO SELL IT AS BOTH, IT NEEDS TO OPERATE AS BOTH. OTHERWISE ITS FALSE ADVERTISING, THE UNIT DOESN’T OPERATE AS ADVERTISED. THERE IS NO FIX FOR IT & OUR MONEY NEEDS REFUNDED. In summary of our appointment, all the tech was able to come to conclusion on was that our LG washer/dryer combo had a bad hose. That was ordered and received a couple days later, yet our follow up app. - to actually fix it - was scheduled a month later by the tech. Our day came - and they rescheduled it, yet again, but this time a whole week later. So the new day came, I got disconnected from him due to my cell service, since I work in the middle of nowhere currently. I called back. No response. Had my fiance call - no response! He never showed up either - because she was home waiting! She yet again, left work early that day. More money lost. Absolutely horrible service! Thank god I have an extended warranty through Geek Squad. I don’t care if the hose is fixed anymore. We don’t want the unit at all. It doesn’t work. It never will. We want a refund so we can ACTUALLY GO GET A WASHER & DRYER THAT WORKS. 10/10 times will NEVER recommend the unit OR service to ANYONE!

Poor service! Didn’t fix!!! Was charged for coming out, but didn’t attempt to fix. All I heard was excuses for traveling to my location. Most time wasted sitting in the van.bad customer service from sears and wouldn’t never hire Sears to come out again! No Thank You!!! Hired someone the next day that came out and fixed and the issue and it wasn’t what this tech stated! It was very simple.
