The technician Alexis T. never showed up between the 8am -12pm window. I contacted customer service at 1:46pm to get an eta for technician Alexis T. The technician Alexis T. called at 1:51pm and asked what was wrong with the appliance. I explained that information should be in the notes. I then asked why didn't I receive a courtesy call for running late beyond the 8am -noon window (one hour and 45minutes beyond the (4) hour window for service. Alexis T. responded it was beyond his control and he didn't have to contact me. I asked for a supervisors number and he refused. He said he was 10 minutes out from my location and Alexis T. never showed up to render service.

I got charged, was told everything was working fine, still having same problem. Very dissatisfied and would like a full refund. UPDATE :after calling Sears as requested below still no help and was told I will not be getting a refund. Terrible service + got charged $119 for nothing. Wish I could lower to zero stars…. I hired a private repair company who correctly diagnosed as needing new pump, did repair, now working well.

Technician was very incompetent, rude and unproferssional. Was rushing and never addressed the issue. In fact he was combatant and eager to leave. Sears is going from bad to really bed to filing bankruptcy and now to send incompentent technicians to service real issues.

Terrible service. The tech came to check our working AC and broke the line set. Then refused to repair it. And he was rude and indignant on the telephone

Repairman said the dryer not heating could be the gas levers(something like this). He said that can make it not heat sometimes or off and on. He changed those and did a cleaning inside the dryer. Then he tried to start the dryer and the start button would not work. This was NOT the problem when he came. To fix this was going to cost almost an additional $100. When added to the other repairs, it made no sense to fix the dryer. Cheaper to buy a new one. But what is upsetting is that the repairman broke my dryer worse than when he arrived and was expecting me to pay for it. He wasn't even going to fix it the same day until I got upset because he said he would come back in a day or two with that part. Then he called a store near my house and they had the part. However that is when he was going to charge md close to another $100. I would not recommend his services at all. He gives Sears a bad name. I bought my new washer and dryer at ABT. This way I don't have to deal with Sears service.

We have been trying to get the water valve fixed in our refrigerator since the beginning of June! Have had 2 appointments rescheduled without our knowledge after waiting for the technician.Trying to get thru to a representative is horrible, long wait times and no help as to why no one showed up! Last week the technician ordered a new part because the one we had mailed was defected. We made an appointment with him to return the following Monday 6/24/24, 1-5pm to install it, again no call no show. After being on hold for over an hour we have an appointment for tomorrow! Wish us luck!! Update-got a call confirming appointment last night for 8-12pm. Then a text saying tech would behere between 9-12. Around 10am I checked status report and there was a picture of our house at 9:01am saying that he was sorry he missed us and we would need to reschedule! He never tried to call my husband or me to say that he was on his way or here. Called Sears Home Warranty and no one could explain why no phone call or text! Tried responding to the below response and this is the message. "Thank you for contacting Sears Home Services. We're currently undergoing a significant technology upgrade to enhance our service. Please note that due to high demand, wait times may be extended. If you're experiencing any difficulties, please provide your contact details and our team will reach out to you shortly. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resolving any issues promptly." Still no response!! Rescheduled AGAIN for Saturday!!

They were not helpful and the customer service is not up to par. I provided advance notice to customer service for the technician to bring a ladder so they could reach the roof to service the ac unit. The technician showed up and did not have a ladder. And then proceeded to pawn me off to the next service provider. Quite frustrating. Especially when you take time to ensure that information is provided in a timely manner so the service trip is handled efficiently.
