His service was good however when he pulled fridge out there was a small puddle of water I saw it when he pushed it back. There was also water in the bottom tray in freezer side and under the tray along with dirty prints left. I wouldn’t have minded if he would have just told me. If I hadn’t looked that water would have froze on the bottom of the freezer side. I think if they not going to clean up where he worked at. At Least tell the customer.

Douglas was knowledgeable and competent. He performed the contracted services as expected. Sears appointment system is not great - the projected service window was between 7am and 4pm and never changed. I received a call around 2 from Douglas saying he would be there in an hour. He was :). This was a home warranty repair, so I didn't have a choice in providers, but I would probably go with a local, more people-centric company.

It took 4 phone calls and 4 service calls to successfully (I hope) fix my washing machine. The first time a tech came out he told me he cleaned the door and cleared a clog in the dispenser drawer. After that he ran a cycle and pronounced the leak fixed. An hour later I started a load of wash and again had water leaked across the floor. When I called to report that the problem was not fixed the call center agent I talked with told me my washer was leaking because I failed to clean a filter weekly. While on the phone I accessed the filter and there was nothing in it which I told him. The agent insisted that cleaning the filter had solved the problem, but when I told him the washer was still leaking from under the left hand corner of the machine he agreed to send a tech out the next day. That tech asked my husband what the problem was and as soon as my husband told him, he looked at the rubber gasket (?) just inside the door and immediately found a hole in it which he said was causing the leak. He ordered the replacement part and scheduled a new appointment. The day before the new appointment, I got a text confirming the appointment. Fifteen minutes later I received a call telling me I would need to reschedule the appointment. Approximately 15 min after that I received an email confirming my appointment and telling me what to expect the next day. I called to try to resolve the confusion and was assured that a tech would be there as scheduled the next day. Fast forward to the next day and no tech arrived. I called again and was given a new service date. When that appointment day arrived, the tech did in fact show he asked me for the part. I told him we had not received any parts. When he checked he said he could see an order for the part, but there was no tracking number. He reordered the part plus an additional one because of another problem I noticed. I was scheduled for a service call today. In the meantime, I had called more than once to report that my washer would randomly shut itself off part way thru a cycle and give an error code. When checking my owner’s manual, the solution listed was “unplug the power cord and call for service.” I requested service for this, but was told by a call center agent to unplug the washer and wait 60 minutes before plugging it back in and trying it again. This resolved the problem, but I don’t think I should have to do this in order to get my laundry done. I explained this problem and the error code to the tech who came today and after checking, was able to fix the problem and explain the issue to me. I haven’t tried to use the machine yet, but I hope the problems are in fact fixed. I feel like this was a lot of hassle to go through to obtain service.
