DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. horrible communication. I asked him to send the breakdown of cost in labor to my home warranty, but that was too much of an issue for him to do. It would’ve taken him the same amount of time that it took to send me the email and it would have to send them the email. So now I have to pay for an entire washer with my own money because he was too stubborn to send them the email. If I were you, I would choose a different service man.

I had a very disappointing experience with Sears Home Services. After a difficult time just getting them to come out to repair my washer-dryer combo, the technicians finally arrived but asked me to sign a waiver saying they wouldn’t be responsible for any damage to my stairs, floors, or the appliance itself during service. I refused—no responsible company should expect that. They left without doing any work. To make things worse, they gave me a huge service window—from 8 AM to 5 PM—expecting me to stay home and wait all day. That’s a full workday lost, which no professional company should require. I do not recommend using Sears for appliance repairs. If you sign that waiver, they can cause damage and take no responsibility. It also encourages careless work inside your home. That’s just not right.

Scheduled an appointment to have my washer looked at. Was told they would be there to look at it from 8-5 the following Monday. Technician called me at noon on Monday to get some info on what was going on. I informed him that I had another repair company take a look at it the week previously and that they were not able to fix it properly. He then proceeds to tell me that he will not be coming to look at it and can’t help me because someone else already did. I’d save your time and go somewhere else. Not to mention all their customer service and scheduling hoops to jump through were all AI
