Had several appointments to fix appliances. All techs were helpful in explaining the problems and repair/problems done efficiently. However the appointments made through AI assistance became a frustrating experience especially when only the AI was not able to adequately address a problem and there were no person to speak or address an issue with appointments.
Cynthia K,

It was a very + experience to have Corn repair my washer. I did a load right after his leaving and set the dial to "hot", but the water was tap temperature. l did leave a msg on his phone, just asking a simple ?, but he never ret'd my call. Perhaps he was too busy. Other than that, Corn was efficient! June 8, 2024 1-2 pm. Cornelius solved the problem with the washer and explained how to prevent further issues. He was on time and very professional. Thank you, Corn for your good service.

Excellent service and repair.
Edward R,
Technician Jose was very thorough in his assessment of the problem that had occurred. Very polite demeanor.
vern N,
Had to reschedule twice because the condo building doesn't allow workers/service people after 5:00 pm, and the arrival time of 1-5 pm kept getting pushed later in the afternoon to 4:45-6:45. We were finally successful when an 8-12 noon appointment was scheduled. Fortunately, it turned out to be an easy fix but was not eligible for the 20% off coupon. I would call Sears Appliance Repair again.
Laura B,
The repair didn't start well - the repair guy showed up an hour outside of the promised window. Not his fault, but frustrating nonetheless. The repair was actually an annual checkup with a request to change the light in the oven. That was what I asked when I scheduled the visit, but the repair guy said that light bulbs were a consumable and not part of the warrantee. He did take the existing one out and show me how to replace it, which was more valuable to me than a light bulb. The rest of the visit was an annual checkup which went quickly and without a hitch. The repair guy took time to explain how to clean out the filter of the dishwasher, so that was a good thing. Overall, the service was quick, polite, and mostly met expectations (which weren't very high).
David T,
The rating is based only on the fact that the final repair appears to have fixed the problem with our refrigerator (warming temperature, insufficient ice cube production, condensation) but it took too long. Considering our entire experience, the rating would not be so generous. First, instead of sending a repair person to address the same complaint (third time over three years), Sears sent a maintenance person unskilled or unauthorized to repair the known problem. Our repair history should have been reviewed to understand that a repair person should have been sent out. Thus, the maintenance person immediately realized that a repair person should have been assigned. When the repair person diagnosed the problem, he needed parts he didn't carry. A second repair person was assigned to bring and install the broken part. The second repair person installed the part, but it didn't correct the problems, A third repair person was sent and he determined that another part was needed. The part was mailed to my residence and a fourth repair person arrived to install it and in the process discovered that, all this time, the door was not closing correctly, resulting is constant loss of cold air. He repaired the flap closing mechanism. Now, it works perfectly although its only been a week. We are hoping Sears doesn't need to send another five appliance service people and we have to interrupt our lives five more times to wait for the service persons. Sears expended many times the cost to address the complaint that it needed to and we wasted more time to wait for each service call than was necessary.
