Very pleased with the service provided by a helpful, friendly service man!

We've been paying for a service contract on this side-by-side refrigerator/freezer for nearly fifteen years. It's very comforting to know that the Sears techs will come to our home, diagnose the problem, order whatever part might be necessary, and come back to install it when it arrives without then presenting us a bill for several hundred dollars. In this case it was the in-door water dispenser that failed. The fitting that held the tube water passes through to land in a glass had worn out (we bought this fridge in 2004). The tech had the correct replacement part on his truck, which pleased both him and me immensely. He removed the old one, replaced it, tested it, smiled, said "it works," and left. It's still working perfectly several days later and we have no complaints.

Awesome service. He assessed the problem and found it was a fan and fixed it. He was thorough and did a great job.

Still no ice in ice maker. Ordered part again, but no word on when it will be delivered. Last time it was the wrong part and chat told me the tech will be bringing the correct part.
