Sears Rep showed up on time and immediately diagnosed the problem with Samsung ice maker. Seems this ice maker fails regularly on Samsung refrigerators, and Sears rep had part in her truck. Although the repair seemed costly ($500+), it was done timely and the frig is making ice once again.
