Technician unfamiliar with particular product series. I was able to find a few pictures and info to assist them with disassembly.

Tech was great: very polite and professional. He ran tests and diagnostics with no errors. Suggested I clean the dishwasher with vinegar. He was barely out the door when I ran the dishwasher and got the beep beep beep and error codes. I almost ran after him. So I paid $130 and still have a malfunctioning dishwasher. Hi, Nick and his supervisor Nick were very professional. Unfortunately the repair they made did not fix the issue.

Once they got here it was great, but being cancelled at the last minute on the 15th and not rescheduled until the 28th negatively impacted my opinion. My tech was superb!

The washing machine has never been properly fixed, even though technicians have come out more than four times. Communication with supervisors has been nonexistent. They’ve attempted repairs multiple times, but the issue still hasn’t been resolved.

This was a terrible experience and remains to be since there is NO way to contact a real person at Sears Home Repair. A repair man came to my house, took a picture of the model number, and did NOT inspect the washer, or take anything apart. I explained the situation and based on my description he determined it was a bolt. He then demanded that I pay $350 up front for him to repair it in 4 days, I suggested I pay the diagnosic fee and pay the rest of the repair when he came back. He also advised he did not have a work truck and had no parts with him. He then told me that they would be back on Friday or before and I would be contacted to confirm appointment. I then followed up by going to the appointment in Sears Home Services website. The website indicated that the service was complete. When I called the number I “spoke” to Samantha, an AI assistant. All she could confirm is that the service was complete, no parts have been ordered and that there is NO live help available- at all. She did refer me multiple times to the website that once again shows service is complete. There is no way to speak to anyone. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card. This is a scam and NO ONE should use this supposed repair service where there are no humans that work there. And to top it off, they responded to this review and suggested I contact them at the same website referenced above or the same phone number which goes to Samantha, the AI assistant. This is such a joke. AI is responding to these reviews. It is comical and sad. Read the other reviews- they complain about not being able to reach someone and AI responds with contact is directly at the same number and website that gives you an AI assistant. Very sad that a company that used to have such a great reputation is reduced to bots and stealing from customers.

I had an appointment today. Had to pay $130 for them to tell me it would cost $830 to repair a washer that’s currently on sale for $499 brand new. Complete waste of time & money. The washer needs a new belt & control panel which can be purchased online for a lot cheaper. Just sharing my experience to help someone else who may be considering booking them for repairs. Try finding a local handy man if possible. Why would I pay $830 to repair a used washer that I can purchase for new $499. Not reasonable at all. I was in disbelief but I hope this helps someone else.

0 star’s the technician broke the control switch to set the dryer mind you we had to wait 2 weeks for the parts and the new appointment he only use 1 of the 3 parts order

Sears has turned out to be the most horrible place to have your washer fixed. They’ve been working on it trying to get it fixed for the last two months and they keep lying. They don’t come out or they come out and say I was at home they come out and walk off they sick or they don’t show up but you can’t get a hold of a person on the phone. Come on pay these people better, buddy where they can answer the phone cause they’re losing business. I’ve had them forever, but they are the most horrible people to get to do your work now. I am Sorry that I even went back with Sears. But it won’t never happen again with this contract contract over this is awful cause they don’t stand behind the workers
