The tech Scott did an awesome job of seeing the problem with my dryer and fixing the problem. Working with sears was frustrating but Scott did an excellent job!!

So today 9/5/25 a very courteous young man came in order to fulfill my request for “Preventative Maintenance” on our Kenmore Elite refrigerator. He inspected inside the refrigerator and freezer, outside the back and the front and the door seals. My husband then questioned him as to whether or not he cleaned the coil to which he replied “I do not have my vacuum or coil cleaner with me today because my company van is in the shop for repairs and I’m in a rental car today. If you have a vacuum I’ll be glad to clean the coil but I looked and it was not very dirty”. I was so flabbergasted that I did offer my hand held vacuum and attachments, at which he and I together cleaned the coil and the dust from the vent slits on the cover. This is what my $100 got me today.. I’m rethinking this “Sears Protect” $69/month… if the company this young man works for wants to keep this courteous person on the payroll, his superiors need to rethink his training .. I think he’s worth saving… is a very knowledgeable and pleasant individual and is taking care of the issues with our appliances. It is apparent Peter is well trained in all aspects of customer service and appliance maintenance and is appreciative of his career in his field of work. He is obviously a great asset to this company.
