My main issue is actually with CHOICE HOME WARRANTY. THE SHEER LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THEM AND THE SERVICE COMPANY (Sears) IS completely unacceptable! I would be happy to elaborate further if you would like to call me.

I was charged 120 dollars for a technician to come press buttons and tell me that the front panel isn’t working (which we already knew hence the repair requested) and that I need a 560 dollar repair. The washing machine is 400 dollars. The technician didn’t even open the machine at all. Horrible customer service and actual service. Stay with local businesses.

I told Chris multiple times that our stove would spark flames. It did not happen every time you turned it on, but it did happen occasionally. The previous technicians there were here before, two came out from same company placed an order for parts two parts an element and a switch , they had not seen the flames and sparks as it only happened occasionally as expressed. When Chris arrived today he had no idea that anyone had ever been to my house at all, although I suspect he was one of the people that had already been out here over the last five visits that we have had since February from the warranty repair service, he looked very familiar to me. He did not know anything about the parts that had been previously ordered and shipped to my house from the same company ( he said he had no way to look at what other technicians from their company order for a job) that were here to be installed. He said there was no way for him to look back and see what the previous technicians that came from the same company had done or ordered . Again the stove would not spark the flames while a technician was here, as it only happens occasionally, which I have already expressed to five technicians five. He only installed the switch. He did not believe there was any reason to put the element on that had been ordered, which he also took with him instead of leaving at our house because he said he was going to return it, which was odd considering that, he never even ordered those parts nor did he have to a way to check back at what had been previously ordered. At approximately 7 PM on the same day that Chris came and put the switch on that he claimed fixed my stove problem my husband turn the stove on and what does it do, shoots fire, and sparks also flipping our breaker in the house. At that point, I begin to video and we flip the breaker back on to see if it does it again so that we can catch it in action since not one single technician has believed us or thought or deemed necessary this being unsafe and we have luckily caught it in action. Had Chris put on the element on today that had been ordered and probably already paid for previously even though I had to sign papers today that the warranty would pay for it again, this may have not happened or it could have happened because that may not have even be the problem at all. I’m just suggesting that people not buy the stove and not get this warranty from Lowe’s as it is a waste of money at this point the amount of money that has been spent by the warranty center on technicians could have probably paid for two new stoves .
