Really bad system. Took over 3 weeks and a number of days away from work. Many texts of no value. The parts need to be sent to the tech not the home like the old days. The tech has no idea if the part has arrived so it goes. Contact with your dispatch is lacking a lot. Gave them a number to call but kept ignoring it. Terrible.

The experience was a TOTAL RIPOFF! Your Service tech made a quick diagnosis of "a bad Solenoid....but I don't have any with me. Do you know where i could find one around here?", he asked me...the customer. So..then I had to wait a week for a part to come. It did, and he returned, a week later. At this point, I've already payed Sears $262.35 for the $16.00 dollar part, and his expert diagnosis, which turned out to be wrong. He then put in the new Solenoid and realized that his diagnosis was wrong. He immediately started to inform me that I have "A bad motor". I informed him that my bad motor had just cut my 1-acre lawn without issue, many times recently, before it stopped starting up. His next words angered me..."It's probably going to be like $500/$600 bucks to fix it." Which is it, and why do you estimate by the HUNDREDS i Asked him. He was flustered and looked up the parts he thought it needed and informed me it would be another $480.00. At that point I asked him to pack up and leave. So, to recap: I paid Sears appliance repair $262.35. They took out my good Solenoid and replaced it with a new one for no apparent reason, totally misdiagnosed what was wrong with it, and expected me to come up with another $480 to let Sears do it to me again? This Service was a total sham from start to finish. I will give you one opportunity to rectify it by sending a competent technician to diagnose the problem on my lawn mower and properly repair it as should have been done already after 2 SEARS HOME visits. Sears charged me $209.95 for labor on a part that took your technician 14 minutes to put in. How do I know that? His entire visit, his repair attempt, and his ridiculous banter about the alleged problem, and how much he would charge me to fix it.... All on Ring video. Like i said, you can have one attempt to rectify the situation with a competent tech, otherwise everything I have is going to the BBB, The Florida State Attorney General, and the Media. You just can't get away with ripping off your customers like this! Angry, Chris Wagner
