Three different technicians came to my home on 4 different visits. The first one diagnosed the problem and said a part was needed and they would call for a second appointment when the part came in. Over a month went by and no call back. So we had to call again to reschedule. The second technician came out and had no notes about the A/C needing a part. So again, a part was recommended. This the different tech over nighted the part and made an appointment for two days later. Keep in mind appointments last all day, meaning you have to be available from 8am-5pm and you don't know exactly when they will arrive. So I stated I wouldn't be available in the afternoon. Tech said, no problem, I'll come in the AM. No one came until I had to leave in the afternoon, so again ANOTHER appointment was made. This time my husband had to stay home. Finally the tech came, fixed the issue. Who has the time or money to take off 4 days for an issue that should have taken two? I'm glad ultimately everything was fixed and all the technicians were extremely polite, knowledgeable and respectful but there is a serious communication breakdown happening somewhere.

Service with Sears has been a nightmare and 1 star is over rating Sears. An appointment was set with a time between 8-5 (that was the first clue) and after waiting all day without hearing from them, at 5:20, I received a text that it was rescheduled for the following day. Late the next day a Service man came and informed me that a new motherboard was needed and it would take a week. The part was delivered to my home, a Service man came, tried putting the part in and informed me that the part was defective and needed to be reordered. A new appointment was set, a Service man came BUT he didn't have the part. I was told by both service men that everything with Sears is handled by AI, Managers have been let go so there isn't person you can call if there is a question, or problem. Since AI is only as smart as it's developer, it isn't perfect and doesn't take information from the the service person, my appointment was not rescheduled so after 3 weeks of trying I still have a broken washing machine and am looking with some other company for service.

SEARS HOME REPAIR IS A TOTAL MESS OF A COMPANY. THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. THEY LIE, MISREPRESENT, SEND ALL CALLS TO INDIA ONLY TO BE APOLOGIZED TO AND PATRONIZED AND FURTHER LIED TO. THYE OPERATE TOTALLY WITH AI WHICH IS A DISTASTER IN ITSELF. I AM OPTING OUT OF THIS FLAWED COMPANY HOME WARRENTY SINCE THEY HAVE COST ME WAY MORE TIME AND MONEY THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED. SEARS HOME SERVICE HAS NO CLUE HOW TO CONDUCT BUSINESS OR DEAL HONESTLY WITH IT'S CUSTOMERS. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would this is the most unprofessional company They schedule to come out between eight and five I take off of work and then at 5:20. I get a text message saying they apologize but they need to reschedule my service appointment… this did not happen one time it happened three different days. I would stay clear of this and never use their services unless you want to take off of work wait around all day. Did no one show up and then your appliance still not work. This is the text message they send out.. Hello, this is Richard, your AI virtual assistant from Sears Home Services. We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to have a technician available today to service your appliance. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We would like to make this right by rescheduling your appointment at the next available time. Which of the following works best for you? 1) Tuesday, 3/4, 8am-5pm 2) Wednesday, 3/5, 8am-5pm 3) Thursday, 3/6, 8am-5pm 4) Friday, 3/7, 8am-5pm

had an appointment scheduled today (9/30) for a washer repair service with an 8am-12pm time frame. got a notification that the tech wouldn't arrive until after 1:30ish. this was after service being canceled on Friday due to the hurricane (understandable), and a separate service for the dryer cleaning that was supposed to be on Wednesday (9/25) that they just didn't show up for with no notification. update: roomie, who scheduled the service under his name, stayed home from work to wait on tech today. was just notified from him that the after 2pm service, which was delayed from the 8am-12pm window, has now turned into 4pm-4:45pm. I would've already canceled and tried another company if he didn't already take the day off to wait! update 2: after 6pm now, and tech still hasn't come
