The repair was great but the repairman did not call me but rather had my tenant sign off. I can't get a live person on the phone to explain to me what was done. Everything is so automated and there is no one to talk to!

Scheduling a service call is done with an AI Assistant. Bad experience! The AI set a schedule for the next day between 8-12 (so I set aside the next morning), but in the morning I received an email stating that the appointment was 2 days later, time 8-5. There is no phone to call, and I didn't trust the AI Assistant. The only presented choices were to reschedule or cancel. I set aside another full day. On the new appointment date I finally received an email with the approximate time of service and a phone number for the technician (Richard). He called about :30 minutes out and arrived on time. The visit was to repair a washing machine that wouldn't start. I had tried to start it about 6 times without success. As you might guess, it worked perfectly. Richard tried many different settings, and they all worked. He was very polite. I think the repair service should abandon the AI Assistant and provide a real person to schedule repairs.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the performance of the SEARS office in fulfilling my request for emergency repair. It took the SEARS company 7 days to dispach me a technician. The technician Wilner M. handled the problem perfectly in 30 minutes. But I was unable to get the coordinating SEARS offices to correct the error with my contact phone. Since I could only use email, the SEARS office was unavailable to me and all my efforts to get direct access to the technician to coordinate the repair failed. The lack of coordination led to the failure of the first visit of the technician on August 12. I believe that the entire system is too automated and it is impossible to talk to a live agent in a non-standard situation, which causes the receipt of CHOICE pre-prepared emails that do not advance the issue of fulfilling the order.

I bought a Kenmore washing machine because my grandparents always said sears was the best. My washing machine broke down and I ordered a repair. Sears postponed the appointment 2 weeks! I finally gave up and decided to cancel the repair and buy a new (not Kenmore) washing machine. I still have not received a refund for the cancelled repair and I’m unable to get ahold of an actual human at sears in order to resolve the situation. Seems like the company doesn’t care anything about service any longer.

Repairmen were good but sears service in general is awful and I'm planning to drop the service contract. Three times they gave me an 8 am to 5 pm window.where I had to cancel my classes and other activities. They did not give me any heads up before canceling the appointment mid day and I had to start the scheduling process all over again Worse the AI interface was infuriating and no human available unless I pretended I wanted to PURCHASE new surface. Then I got a lot of sympathetic words but NO satisfactory solution. Ugh

The service was scheduled from 8-12 (4 hours window) and the person arrived at 12:34 pm. Then the job was done right. But cost is beyond ridiculous. Parts are twice the cost you can buy them anywhere else, like Amazon. And the 15 minutes used to replace the part cost $300. At least the machine is working. But it’s not worth the price.

9/30 Update… Donald was scheduled to be here today. It says he showed up… I was asked to rate his service… Except Donald never showed up today Beyond frustrated!!! Original service call scheduled for 9/9/24 - technician was a no show. Had to reschedule for 9/12/24 Technician did not fix the AC problem as indicated. Had to schedule another call 1 day later to schedule another service call couldn’t get someone to come out until today, 9/19… appointment time has been pushed out to currently say they won’t be there until after 5:00PM. I can’t get anyone on the phone to discuss this with. Meanwhile we have temperatures in the 90s and my poor dogs and children are suffering in a home that’s above 85°!!
