all i can say is 139 dollars seems fair to switch the terminal cables which i had on wrong and replace fuse which i supplied but i paid over 200? seems excessive

I understand the technician had been out servicing since 8am and he didn't make to me until after 530pm but I feel he didn't do a good job of cleaning out the lint shoots.

Technician was efficient and fast but price for labor was outrageous. It was $300 for 15 minutes of work to diagnose and replace a $45 part. Pushed the Sears home warranty to save money but we declined. We think that labor was so high to push people to take the home warranty. Wouldn’t have used them if we knew labor would be so expensive.

Oscar was excellent and gets 5 stars for him alone. However the inability to speak with a human about appointments was upsetting. He ordered a number of parts 5/14/24. The parts started arriving but there was no way to confirm the part number from the order sheet with the completely different numbers on the parts. Within two weeks we believed we had all parts ordered, but could not schedule a reasonable date for installation.. Also since the only appointments available were on Tuesdays we had to wait 6 weeks from first visit til Oscar installed the parts on 6/25. Our time and availability should have been taken into consideration and not just your rigid schedule.

Technician did not pass by at all; I missed his call maybe but didn’t leave voicemail; Had to call warranty company to find out that he wasn’t going to come bc there were no parts? System is not on the same page or in realtime since I’m now getting a rate your technician even though he didn’t show??? It’s just confusing.

Technician insisted that "repair" was not needed; then charged about $150 for telling me that I need to use a different setting to avoid the multitude of lint that glomms on to my solid colored dark clothes after every wash. Sears has a "code" the technicians are to use for such "customer instruction". I clarified that I had read the manual many times, ALWAYS chose the extra rinse button, and was not using more soap than recommended. Will try again this weekend -- using the setting the technician recommended. If my darks still require a second (time consuming) wash to remove the lint, I'll be calling back to insist that repairs apparently ARE needed, and at no additional charge.

I am disappointed in the way Sears Repair Service handles repair calls. I have made two repairs calls in the last two months and each call took 2 weeks + to get the repair done. When you call to schedule an appointment, and then you are given one which is 2-3 weeks later. So if you have an appliance that is an essential appliance to the function of your household you're out of luck as far as getting it repaired within days. I just think Sears has a very poor repair service department when it comes to timely repairs.

The repair to my riding mower was good. I think $85.00 for two belts is an overcharge. The diagnostic fee is ok if it is applied to overall repair, however, to not do that, then add labor is ridiculous.
