Technician very nice, but he never asked me to sign the estimate or the finalized bill, or any document authorizing payment from my credit card. I was not shown any electronic "paperwork" and could not verify the work or payment until after he left, to me this is a major problem. He seemed to know immediately what was wrong, but had to go to warehouse to pick up the part, seeing as how dryer is 12 yrs old this was not unexpected. I need to test the dryer to confirm that was the only problem.

Excellent service tech just wish I hadn't had to wait as many days before he could come as it was my wedding and it messed up plans for making food for reception.

Our new Kenmore elite refrigerator had a stopped drain and a lot of ice buildup - don't know what caused it - but they came out and used a steam gun and melted the ice. Its been 5 days since repair and everything seems ok. Only complaint would be that it took almost 2 weeks to get an appointment.

The washer seems to work fine. The repairman suggested using less detergent and water down the fabric softner to avoid white streaks on my black pants. Will try it and see what happens.

I don't give five stars to any cause or deed because on this earth, nobody's perfect or worthy of such a high accolade status, except Jesus! That being said, after several service calls, Sears did finally rectify all the dysfunction concerning the filtering, water dispensing, and ice making capabilities of my Kenmore fridge. Realizing that all these parts/functions are integral, and rely on each other for the overall peak performance of the unit, negated any inconveniences I may have incurred due to any schedule changes or time involved to complete the repair process! All technicians that were dispatched to my home were professional, courteous, neat in appearance and knowledgeable. And performed their jobs in a very reasonable amount of time. I guess the only thing that I was kinda put out about was the fact that I was charged for another water filter that I had just replaced prior to any service call. And even after that filter change the problems of water dispensing and ice making still persisted. It was not until the filter housing was changed that functionality was partially restored. Having said all that, @ the end of the day, all functionality has been restored to my fridge and right before, (two days to be precise), the Christmas holidays & company/family arrive! In conclusion, to Sears be the accolades & appreciation for the eventual success of the repair and to God, the glory! Merry Christmas 2015!

Scott found the problem quickly and fixed it. It appears that in the original assembly someone did not properly connect the controls to the motor and machine vibration disconneted the switch.
